    Awesome spotlight find at Target!

410 lumens is probably the highest I will ever go because there's a point at which your light can be too bright which causes you to not even be able to see anything due to having too much light shining off the vehicle into your eyes. I do know that LED lights or lights that have more of a pure...

    2006 Chevy Equinox: 1-step correction

Just a quick update on the lighting situation. I ended up finding a really nice spotlight at Target. Check it out at my other thread: http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/showthread.php?t=40428 Sent from my Inspire 4G using Tapatalk

Haha actually that was the neighbors light on the side of their house. Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk

    Awesome spotlight find at Target!

So today I was just browsing around in Target near the automotive section (of course!) and I stumbled upon a REALLY nice detailing tool in the next aisle over. I've been looking for a better spotlight "swirl finder" than my LED flashlight and I believe I just found my answer! I had been looking...

    Basement Waterproofing

That's crap man. Be thankful you at least have a sump pump in your basement! The place I rent at currently has no sump pump and a gutter is missing on one side of the building so all the water runs down into the basement. Going to try and get that all resolved but I wonder how much this could...

    2006 Chevy Equinox: 1-step correction

The light I'm using is just an LED flashlight. It's the Inova X2. I need to invest in something better as it's not the best at showing swirls.

    2006 Chevy Equinox: 1-step correction

That's pretty much what I had found after I got Jetseal 109. It's not that great and definitely overpriced. I figured I'd just use some of it for this detail since it was free and I didn't want a ton of money to go to waste from when I had originally bought the stuff. Sent from my Inspire 4G...

EVO 8 Protection + Interior detail

Very nice job! I'm sure the owner was happy. This has to be one of my favorite years of the Evo.

    2006 Chevy Equinox: 1-step correction

Today began the adventure of my first complete 1-step correction. Who was the victim? My friend. Thankfully he still considers me to be such so I figure I did a good job. Haha. The vehicle I worked with today was a 2006 Chevy Equinox. This will be the first vehicle in my portfolio. We decided...

    Oakes Detailed: Nissan GT-R Revival

Very nice job! Looks like it had been through quite a bit before you got it. I too am interested in the metal soap you mentioned. The exhaust tip on my car gets quite black and nasty and I'd like to clean it up.

    2009 Ford Edge - Interior/Exterior Detail

Damn, nice job on the wheels and mats! The wheels didn't even look like they were chrome in the before pics. As for the mats, I see you said you used APC+ and Folex, but what exactly did you use to scrub them clean? I also see there's vacuum marks on the mats in the after pictures. What did you...

    Which Quick Detailer you use?

I use ONR as my quick detailer. It doesn't offer the best looks but I usually only use quick detailer around door jambs and underneath my trunk lid where I can't get to with my wash mitt. Works great and is very cost effective since it can be diluted!

    PC + Surbuf + Meguiars

Have you used a claybar at all? I didn't see that in your steps and it wouldn't be a good idea to polish without claying first.

    2003 Grand Marquis

In reading up on OPC vs. Megs APC+ I've actually found that APC+ might not be completely safe on everything as it may contain caustic soda or caustic potash. The Optimum stuff apparently is not alkaline-based (caustic) so it's pretty much safe on everything. You get what you pay for so I think...

    Watery Wolfgang DGPS

Another thing to keep in mind is that the weather lately has been quite warm. Perhaps it got a bit too hot during transit?

Wow! That leather was in terrible condition. The after photos are just amazing! I really need to get some OPC. That stuff seems to work wonders.

    Post Your Unpacking Pictures

This is actually my first order from AG. Got my first buffer today! This isn't my first detailing order though. I've already got tons of other products so that's why this order is somewhat small. It's just my foray into actually repairing my paint instead of masking the defects. Will be putting...

Best non-sticky leather cleaner for steering wheel?

I'm really interested in trying the all-in-one Pinnacle Leather Cleaner & Conditioner but I'd like to try it first before I spend $25 on it. I can't seem to find a sample size on AG. I'm guessing you can't get this as a sample?
