Mistake?? I don't think so in terms of "cheapening" their product prestige or value. The only issue might be that some people will buy these off the shelf and not really know how to properly use them. Then those same people my complain that these products are terrible and never buy them again...

Unless your pressure washer is built for hot water you can not run hot water through it. If it is gas, the cold water is used to cool the engine pump, usually the same with and electric. If you use hot water your pump or engine will fail. -Sparty

Comet cleanser is the old school method to clean white walls. Not sure how safe it is, but man does it work well. When my father had wide white walls on his Nomad we would mix Comet cleanser with a little water to make a thin paste and then scrub the white walls with it. They come out bright...
