    Weird Spots On/In Paint

I used the clay bar that comes with Meguair's Smooth Surface Clay Kit (white which I believe is the mildest of their lineup). I am guessing Meg's Aggressive Clay would work ok with ONR diluted to the clay lube ratio listed on the bottle? Now since I do not have a DA or rotary to clean up any...

    Weird Spots On/In Paint

I have these little rust colored and black spots on many different areas of my Nissan Xterra. I have tried Klasse AIO, Clay, 3M Cleaner Wax, Meguiar's Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner, Isopropyl, and finally Goo Gone. The only thing that seemed to help somewhat was using Goo Gone and even then it...

NEW! Stoner Invisible Glass Cleaner With Rain Repellent

I need to pick up some more Stoner IG and this looks pretty cool, but I am wondering if it is any better or worse than the original for interior glass as well. I used the aerosol can all the time so if anyone happens to get this within the next few days, I'd love to hear your thoughts in...

I hope this posting is ok even though it links to Meguiar's, but here is the UC rundown according Mike Phillips and shows in comparison to 105. Feel free to delete my post if this goes against forum rules, but check out the chart: Aggressiveness Order for New Consumer Products - This will...

    Oil From Babies

Makes sense what you guys are saying regarding the UV intensifying properties of baby oil. I guess now that it has cleaned the mirror housings well, I can remove it with KAIO to avoid UV damage. Gonna have to look into this further. Thanks guys.

    Oil From Babies

Yesterday I tried baby oil a.k.a mineral oil that smells terrible, to remove some dried wax on my outside black plastic mirrors. I didn't want to go the peanut butter, school eraser, or AIO route but rather try something new. I must say that rubbing the oil into the surface just ittle bit, and...

    Presidential Detailed: 2001 Audi S8 - 25 hours invested.

Was this thing ever wet sanded? That paint is so smooth that you made the car look like a dark mirror under that awning. :applause:

Where can I get #0000 steel wool locally?

I'm not trying to hijack your thread BUT every time I use the #0000 steel wool it makes a nice little mess of metal filings all over that must be cleaned up or they will rust pretty easily. I'm not sure if anyone has tried a scouring pad alternative that is equivalent to the #0000 steel wool...

    quick detailer reccomendations

#521, Duragloss Marine / RV Detail Spray. It smells good, and leaves a slick and shiny antistatic coating....and even though it says Marine/RV it works perfect for cars. For a cheap and stronger QD use ONR mixed at QD solution, but doesn't seem to leave much gloss at all.

    what wash mitts??

ShMitt for regular washing, and grout sponge for ONR. I used to use a sheepskin mitt with ONR but it started falling apart soon after. May just be a coincidence, but quite happy with the 2 products I am using now. I've used my ShMitt for about 15 washes so far and haven't seen any seperating yet.

    Plastic Buguard

That is what I use on mine, Klasse AIO, and it works great. I remove the bug guard every once in a while and reseal the area behind it since I can't while it is on.
