This is impossible for me to do. Even though I thoroughly enjoy and use specific products with regularity (Such as Z2, Z6, Z7 and Z8) I find myself trying other sealants, QD's, car wash soaps and 'booster' products (in this example). Being continually on the hunt for something MORE impressive...

That's why I brought it up. I didn't know if other folks were doing the same thing or just misting it into the air.

How are you guys spraying it? With the air freshener/scents I get at Wallyworld, I put a couple spritzes on the carpet behind the drivers seat and passenger seat. It usually lasts for a week+ when I do that. If I just 'spray it around the car' the scent is gone in a day or two.

OID is actually 28 oz now that I think about what I used when I made a 16oz dilution. The OID dilutes at 3:1. This will still make 112 ounces of Instant Detailer.

Water activates it, but it loses it's cleaning properties if stored with water. So you gotta use all of your mixture up (or waste it). I don't see the point in diluting it though, just spray the surface you are working on with water and then spray ARO on it. I've only used it for...

Rob, I imagine there is no straight forward way to answer that question. Which one gives more protection? A wax once a month or a sealant once a quarter. I suppose that would depend on what types of UV inhibitors and other things are in each product to actually "protect" the finish.

Well either way the damage has been done. As much as Autopia is "my home" for forums, after all that's happened I might find myself casually visiting but not so much in the way of participation anymore.
