I pretty much use the same thing except I have 4-2x6s beveled on one end and cut at 2’ lengths. So you can buy one 2x6, 8 feet long and cut it into 4 two foot pieces. I drive the car on the blocks before I start, since I do wheels and tires first. This way you don’t have to move the car back...
