The tips are probably stainless and the muffler is probably galvanizesd. The popular metal polishes will work and we sometimes use barkeepers friend as well. Good luck.
ITS GOOD. It cuts a little more than PRC, it finishes out perfectly, it has a very good long buff cycle if needed, and wiped off easier than PRC or finishing wax. I would say Maguiars statements about the product all hold true.

If you tried scrubbing and they did not come off, you may be seeing clear coat damage. Of course use caution scrubbing a black vehicle, clear coat is easy to scratch and on black they are easy to see. There are many good choices at AG. What the others have said sounds good to me. Nathan
