    Whats up from Chicago :D

Welcome! I was forced to live in that cold cold state for 8 years. I left and came back home as fast as I could. Don't miss the weather (we hit 80s yesterday) but man I miss the food. Taylor street pizza and portillos! Mmmm Italian beef dry with cheese

    Collinite Liquid Insulator Wax

Collinite 845 is amazing stuff. I put it on my all of my skis last March and they are all still bead. I take my standup out at least once a week and again still had beading at the end of Oct.

    Black light v7 ???

Sorry to hear it didn't give the look you were going for. Good news is that BlackLight is not super expensive. I still say V7 is the underdog in that combo and isn't given enough credit.

sometimes you just want to give up

What foam pad did you use. I have a 2013 Mustang and it can sometimes be a pain to work with. Sounds like you have super soft paint

Menzerna Powerlock - a little test

Thanks for this I already planed on ordering it. I am going to do power lock and color lock on a black mustang. I had great looks but horrible durability with BL/v7 on that car. Now I am excited about trying power lock, knowing its going to last longer then 3 weeks

    Black light v7 ???

If your going to use black light/v7 then either just use those two or first apply blacklight then either souveran or ss2 then v7.

    Black light v7 ???

Strait from chemical guys website Black Light contains very fine abrasives in the formula to help clean and lightly polish the surface while it’s adding gloss and protection.

    Black light v7 ???

I don't understand the concept of being able to layer Blacklight. It has abrasives in it so in theory the 2nd application would remove the first

    Black light v7 ???

My avatar pic is the blacklight/v7 combo. I really like the combo but the durability for me is horrible. I learned that I can't use the combo in the summer because the Texas sun/heat kills it. But its been holding up great this winter. While the blacklight part is good, v7 is the best part I...

    Black light v7 ???

Yes Blacklight first let it dry for 15 mins then remove. Then wait 30 mins and apply the v7. Little goes along way if you spray the entire panel with v7 you probably will get streaking. Also after every wash apply the v7.

    Black light v7 ???

In this case the blacklight has cleaning abilities. So if you put the v7 down first the blacklight would remove it.

I think he will come around. While putting this much work on all of the cars on the lot isn't practical but for your special or high priced units the cost could be recouped. When the cars are washed is it done on the lot with a power washer? Maybe a foam gun could be a wise investment?

Well worth the wait. Now in that condition I think you can raise the price

    Swirled out Solstice

Doubtful but some dealerships are very understanding. I had a 2013 Mustang GT delivered and told them NOT TO TOUCH THE PAINT. Well when it was delivered and ready to be picked up it still had the transport plastic on it.
