Hey Bobby, no pads yet, will order some today. As what I have on hand:
Wolfgang Finishing Glaze 3.0
Wolfgang Paintwork Polish Enhancer
Z2 and Z5 and Z AIO
845 wax
Duragloss Clear Coat Polish
But I could use some color advise on the pads.
Thx
Duragloss Clear Coat Polish is a superb sealant with a lot of gloss and durability and it right at home after
using Wolfgang Finishing Glaze 3.0 or Wolfgang Paintwork Polish Enhancer!
Collinite 845 - is simply the most cost effective wax you can buy with the looks of a more expensive wax and the durability of a sealant.
Wolfgang Finishing Glaze 3.0 is a great product and sounds like it's the correct choice for the defects you mention. Even though it's name indicates a glaze it's more of a polish and will remove up to 2500 sanding grit leaving a superior gloss.
When used with a White foam pad,
Wolfgang Finishing Glaze 3.0 will really clean the finish removing any oxidation and grime washing and claying left behind.
- Thoroughly Prime Pad
- Machine Speed - 5
- Place 3 nickle size globs about 3/4" in from the outer edge of the pad
- Place pad against the paint the switch it on
- Work a 2' X 2' section at a time
- 3 to 4 sectional passes and check your results
Don't be afraid to experiment.
Use the guide above but switch to a gray pad.
Keep your arm speed at about 1/2" to 1" per second in order to give the pad and product combination time to work..

rops:
While
Wolfgang Paintwork Polish Enhancer is a nice product could be used after polishing with
Wolfgang Finishing Glaze 3.0 and before a sealant but I'd gauge your results before using it.
Wolfgang Paintwork Polish Enhancer can be used with a white foam pad id used alone but in this situation I'd apply it with a gray foam pad..
A perfect match!
Foam Pads
Yellow Cutting Foam - Use this pad to apply compounds or polishes to remove severe oxidation, swirls, and scratches. It is the most aggressive and should only be used on oxidized and older finishes. Always follow this pad with an orange or white pad and a fine polish to refine the paint until it is smooth.
Orange Light Cutting Foam - Firm, high density foam for scratch and defect removal. Use this pad with polishes and swirl removers. It’s an all-around pad that will work on most light to moderate imperfections.
White Polishing Foam - Less dense foam formula for the application of waxes, micro-fine polishes and sealants. This pad has very light cutting power so it’s perfect for pre-wax cleaners.
Gray Finishing Foam Pad - Composition is firm enough to withstand added pressure during final finishing to remove buffer swirls. It has no cut and will apply thin, even coats of waxes, sealants, and glazes.
Blue Finessing Foam – Pad has soft composition for applying glaze, finishing polish, sealants, and liquid waxes. Flat pad provides full contact with paint surface to minimize the pressure applied by the user.[FONT="]
