looking for Single pad and polish?

Sounds like a job for Menzera PF-2500. You didn't state whether you wanted it to have protection in it. if you want an all in one then Meguairs D-151 would be the go to and you change the level of cut depending on the foam pad used.

    Question about coating

I did a Honda Ridgeline and did 2 layers. It took over 50ml to do the 2 layers. So I would recommend the 50ml kit to you.

Used PE 14-2 150 vs New DeWalt DWP849X

Get the Flex. The Dewalt 849x is a beast made for buffing things like a boat. It's a heavy unit made for the production environment. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

    Why oh why?

I can't get the rupes to work well in curved body panels. It will stop spinning intermittently on me. I can't have that when I am trying to get a job done. The flex doesn't stop on curved body panels. The flex 3401 just keeps on going with out stopping on me. Sent from my SCH-I535 using...

    Why oh why?

When lake country introduced the Hybrid pads for the Flex XC3401VRG that just made it even more of an effective defect removal tool to have in your detailing arsenal.

    Why oh why?

I think that the 3401 vibrates way less than rupes lhr21es or lhr15es. Once you get use to the 3401 's counter rotation it's so easy to work with. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

    Menzerna

Menzerna PF-2500 is one product to definitely have in your Menzerna arsenal. It just does a lot and you get then get by maybe with a 2 step in stead of 3 step polish. CarPro reflect has now offered a serious challenge to SF4500 in the bringing out the gloss department. Anyway just used PF2500 on...

My review of the Flex 3401 and Rupes Bigfoot polishers

Very good review. Used the Flex on a Honda Ridgeline with curved quarter panels and fenders. The Rupes LHR-15E would stop most of the time on the curved surfaces. Went back to the 3401 didn't skip a beat on those curved panels.

    Cleaning foam pads

Put pads in a bucket of Detailer's pad rejuvenator for like 30 minutes. Clean pads with a a brush to get all of the polish residue out of the pads. Then rinse each pad by hand in clean running water. Then spin in washer to get then near dry. Sit on drying rack until dry.
