Its funny that no matter how much we like something (d156) we are always looking for something better.
d115 beads for at least 3 weeks for me. Havent gone longer than that to really test longevity cause I usually wash and use d156 as a dying aid.
I dont see any written directions on the 4:1 dilution other than the video from May. Also the newer video doesnt mention it either.

I wonder how this compares to Sonax cause the smell is really getting to me....especially if it gets on me at all.
Its cool that BDX can be used for paint too!
3" backing plate will work but you have the weight of the machine and crazy vibration so is it worth it if your current GG3 isnt getting any use? For the odd time you may need it I think the GG3 will be the better option.....especially if you are doing a headlight correction.
If the machine goes to 6 then the pads made for it should be able to handle it. No excuse if you ask me. I mean what's the point of 6 speeds if you can only use 5 of em?
Griots will replace the pads for you.
I just did some headlights that were pretty bad. Orange 3" pad on my drill using sf4500 and they were clear as day. Now they still had some fine scratches on em but I didnt want to remove any more than what was necessary.
I always soak my towels in this stuff for a week or two before washing. Im pretty sure it will break down any wax.....Ive noticed that there is no smell of my wax after the wash. Before I used it I noticed a faint smell in my towels.

If you notice a difference be sure to report back and Ill have to look into some but Im sure they are pretty similar. Once my d156 runs out Ill try some BF spray wax.
