Where to Sell or Trade Used Products/Tools?

Is there a well known site for selling or trading detailing products? I've always wondered this cause Craigslist sucks and I don't think AGO allows you to sell your own stuff here though I have seen people trading things lately here...

My First Real Wheel Polishing(CCW Classics)

Thank you I appreciate it:) Thanks Bobby I agree! Thanks Mike! I do have a couple pairs of the mf gloves that I never would have thought to use on wheels. Matter of fact I always forget I have them when doing things like this. May I ask what products/brand you prefer when doing heavy...

Nissan GT-R Correction and CQuartz - TLC Auto Detail

I'm jealous lol. The new GTR is one of my favorite cars also but I havent yet had a chance to detail one:( I did get to detail a jdm 1994 Skyline GTR a couple months ago though which is probably more rare to get than the new ones but I still must get a R35 in my shop soon. Pics and work look...

My First Real Wheel Polishing(CCW Classics)

Thank you sir! Yeah I don't even wanna think about the amount of hours I have in these. It was mainly a learning experience for me. I'll charge much more next time I do wheels like these again.

My First Real Wheel Polishing(CCW Classics)

A couple days ago a client called me asking if I would be able to polish up his CCW Classic wheels for him. He said they sat on his Mustang outside for about 8 months in the weather and sun while the motor was being rebuilt and they were really "fading". I said to bring them by so I could take a...

    Best Pad/compound combo

Btw I now use a regular LC yellow pad with Meguiar's M105 on speed 6 then follow with Optimum Polish II with LC orange pad at speed 5-6. Works like a charm.

    eBay Clay?

It's all good man your not crashing anything but the Chinese and Japanese were using detailing clay way before the U.S. was so I'd imagine there clay technology would be better just like pretty much everything else there is far ahead of us. Don't get me wrong I know there's poorly built cheap...

    eBay Clay?

Out of all the detail products sold today, clay is one of the products that has always seemed somewhat over priced for what it is in my opinion. Clay is all over the world and not exactly a scarce item. So I went to the trusty auction site to see the what the absolute cheapest clay I could get...

    Sheepskin Wash Pad

I like these wash pads a lot but the worst thing about them is the shedding like others have stated. I find myself having to pick little wool fibers out of places like door handles, wiper blades, badge lettering and other places where the fibers get wedged into. Other than that though I love...

    Amazing Roll-Off

Yeah ARO doesn't leave tires with any extra sheen but I do wonder if it leaves behind some kind of protective barrier on tires that would make dressings not work as good. I only say this because when used on painted surfaces it does leave a waxy finish that even sheets/beads water like a waxed...

    Amazing Roll-Off

I love this stuff but I don't get why people would use it for tires or plastic. I used it on tires, wheel wells and other plastics and wasn't impressed. I got better cleaning ability from apc+ which is also the better choice for the money. So I sat the ARO on the shelf for a couple months till I...

    Optimum Poli-Seal

Very nice sir! I recently switched from XMT360 to Poli-Seal and love it. It's a lot cheaper than the 360 so profits are better and in my opinion it works better. I was having some trouble with the 360 leaving smear marks that were somewhat hard to remove but the Poli-Seal has been performed...

    A few OTC bargains

Check out your local discount stores like Ollie's, Big Lots, etc. They usually get some pretty good products. My local Ollie's had 3m wax and sealant for $3 each, stoners more shine $2, sonax sealant $2, 3m scratch removal kits $6 and lots of other stuff:)

How much are you guys charging for Cquartz/Opti-coat or any other super sealants?

I agree. I charge anywhere from $200-375 for a permanent paint protection service with no complaints whatsoever from customers. Its actually a pretty good deal for the customer when you think about it. The coating is much harder than traditional clear coats and offers protection second to none...

10% Off and FREE Shipping + Daily Specials

There is. Just get AG to price match the DI item if they sell it. I know I've gotten the daily special price on stuff before through AG but I hate when DI offers a great price on something AG doesnt carry:(

    Tiny Scratches in LSP?

Thanks guys! That sucks though. I thought almost all of these newer German car manufacturers had really hard paint especially since they use the ceramic clear a lot. Oh well looks like I'll wait till the day before I deliver the car to do the 360 on it then I'm leaving it the hell alone lol
