    Yes especially in the newer cars that arnt high end..they all seem to be going with that cheap old vw carpet thats like subwoofer box carpet...that stuff is tough with alot of sand. Have to use a brush just to vac it good

    That does work great. I worked at a multi brand dealership before and we got a few drills and round brushes for them and it def helps with or without and extractor. We had a really nice extractor with a nice heating element but ive never used a steam cleaner....id like to try one out

    Cool thanks for the responses. I basically do the same as all of you. Id like an extractor but if i got one id want to spend the money once and get a nice one..just not in the budget with all the other cool products i keep buying

    Im guessing no responses means go out and buy a extractor or steam cleaner lol.. I have my own method with cleaners, brushes and a nice vac but i was just curious how others may go about it.

    I didnt know they did an earlier turbo car in 79. Thanks for pointing that out. Alot of people forget that fox bodys started in 79. Most people hear fox body and only think of the mid 80s and early 90s body style....its been a few years but im actually in the market for another fox body...

    Yes the SVO mustang was before its time but just didnt pan out. I have buddies with 4 cyl turbo cars with 800 hp running mid tens in the quarter and thats with no traction 3\4 down the track on slicks! Turbos are def the wave of the future

    Ya ive always used waffle style foam pads but i have used flat pads before. Just one more thing to get use to i guess. Im always up to broadening my detail skills and knowledge!

    Thanks for the info. I just realized those hybrid pads can be used on a rotary or d.a. wich is cool. I didnt even know people used 6 inch backing plate on rotarys. So im using a 6.5 pad with the 6 inch plate correct? Any suggestions on backing plate? Have any of you guys used a microfiber...

    Good idea GSKR...i use the snall pump sprayers for apc and wheel cleaner. Work awesome
