    SAMPLES (original post updated)

Wow, I remember when this thread was started! I'm back into it and using oldies, but goodies (Pinnacle, Wolf, Menz). I've given away lots of stuff, so I'd love to buy samples or products you guys don't need around of newer brands or concoctions. Nothing in particular: A good all in one...

    Blew out a pad today

Ha, yep on both your replies! Lucky indeed! I know they are a consumable item and I've had these for maybe 5 years I'm guessing. Not complaining, just figured a few might get a kick out the picture. So ready for some new pads! I'm thinking Hydro low profiles.

    Pick next step...

Curing with Wolfgang sealer (old first formula). Not bad for using old products and my desperate need for new pads, wish I had $ right now. Will top with Souv and maybe Victoria. Meg's or Pink wax on the lowers, as it is her every other day driver.

    What Polisher(s) to Buy?

I'm going to piggyback this thread, as Im considering updating with something new from my old Porter. OldTiger, why don't most of your friends like it if I can ask? Mike, would it even be worthwhile/difference of going with the Griot's since I have an old 7424? If not, I will wait and save...

Came out good with both Menz polishes, thanks guys! I am going to wash it (because I forgot to condition/clean with the Ragtop stuff), then Wolf Sealer and Souv.

the best / cost effective way to strip lsp

Isn't using rubbing alcohol acceptable anymore? That's what I always used if I wasn't using a polish or cleaner, as when I would do different sections of products to test results.

Anyone have a problem with grease/oil coming out of the PC 7424 or Edge Adapter ?

Bring back this old thread... I'm having the same issue now and I still use the Edge system (not for long). 1/2 through a detail today, thing is heating up pretty hot, then grease started coming out, not oil. Also noticed when I removed a pad, a bearing was laying down inside! I pushed it back...

Will do guys, thanks :>) I gave away soooo many products over the past several years helping friends and family since I wasn't using much, thus I'm fairly low on supplies. Trying to make best with what I currently have. Thought about just using a cleaner wax, but nah...better not!

    Pick next step...

Hitting this old black Mercedes today. Tons of spider webbing, etc. Just used Menz Intensive polish, took tons out. I think I can skip doing 3 steps for polishing, unless you think different? Should I go Menz Final Polish next or straight to Wolf glaze? As I was going to go final polish and...

I'm back, but forgot some things...chime in!

Great info sir! I have noticed how popular the 105 and 205 have become since I've been out of it, lots of love for them over other pricier brands. Good to know:)

I'm back, but forgot some things...chime in!

Thanks Dave. I did it quickly once and not so sure after, this starting this thread. I'll do it slowly here soon and see where it gets me. If I'm unhappy, what's a SMAT final polish or such I should consider for light fine scratches? I also think I should have refreshed my memory before doing it...
