Hey Corey, welcome! I'm also from Indiana.

    New Brochures

Looks good. I also like the drop-shadow on the front of the brochure. Knowing what kind of work you do, I'd say you should be charging more for everything. I can't imagine doing all that is in your Complete Detail for less than $200 on a XL sized vehicle. I've seen other TX detailers...

    Interior Dressing

On a side note, I just received a few 17oz. bottles for resale from David at Optimum. It looks like they've changed the name from Optimum Protectant Plus to Optimum Leather Protectant. Although, there's a caption that says something about "works great on plastic/vinyl as well".

    Interior Dressing

No problem. I forgot to mention that OPP also has light cleaners in it so it's a 2-in-1 product. Obviously, if the plastic, vinyl, and leather is really dirty, you'll want a dedicated cleaner for it. Optimum just came out with Power Clean (an APC). Just from a couple test I did with it...

    Interior Dressing

By far my favorite interior dressing is Optimum Protectant Plus. As the description indicates, it leaves a matte finish that is silky (not oily) to the touch, provides good UV protection, and lasts for months. Plus, it helps to repel dust instead of attract it. Best of all, it's eco-friendly...

Sound comparison (video) - Flex 3403 vs. Makita 7227

Mr. Dream Machines - The Flex speed control dial is just like the Flex as you can adjust it all the way through the listed speeds. It starts at 1100rpm's though whereas the Makita starts at 600rpms.

Sound comparison (video) - Flex 3403 vs. Makita 7227

Ok, this comparison for a recent thread on another board that questioned the sound level of the Flex 3403. You be the judge of which is louder. In person, I think that the Flex is louder. I've even thought about wearing small ear plugs while using it. Video comparison...

    Express Detail: Modded '06 Sierra

D2G - LOL!!! Gas is already killing me with my Tacoma. I can't imagine how much that Sierra would cost me! I don't claim to be the fastest detailer, so that 2.5 hours that it took me probably would have been less for other detailers...hehe! You're pretty experienced with large vehicles so...

makdaddy626 - Thanks! It was the biggest truck I've had to work on so I got a workout with it. The pictures don't show it really, but it was in dire need of polishing. Dark_Tempest - Thanks! Interior took about 2.5 hours and the exterior took about 1.5 hours. Total 4 hours. Jimmie - Thanks!

    Express Detail: Modded '06 Sierra

This customer was a referral from a local body shop. The customer is going to be selling this truck so he wanted to get it cleaned up a bit. Because this truck is so big, it hadn't been washed in about a year. This truck serves as the customer's office on wheels. He owns and electrician...
