What's your favorite interior dressing for the dash, trim and door panels??

I'm thinking I would like something more on the matte side. Seems like a shiny finish would attract dust/dirt?

303 sounds exactly like what you're asking for, one of my favorites. PB Natural look is very similar as well if you like Cherry scent.

I was scouring the site last night and was eyeing up 303 and DP. Found good ratings for DP, but couldn't find any for 303...which I found odd, due to the fact that it seems like a lot of people like it so much.

I don't mind cherry scent. Do you know if PB's scent lingers or how strong it is?

IMO it's pretty strong (I'm not a fan of cherry scents) but it doesn't linger long.

Thanks, Makdaddy. My main concern is scents lingering and mixing. Wouldn't want an interior dressing mixing with the scent of a carpet/fabric cleaner. Blech!!!

By far my favorite interior dressing is Optimum Protectant Plus. As the description indicates, it leaves a matte finish that is silky (not oily) to the touch, provides good UV protection, and lasts for months. Plus, it helps to repel dust instead of attract it. Best of all, it's eco-friendly, as are all of Optimum's products.

I applied it to the interior of my Mazda3 and at about 4 months, it's still going strong. I had cleaned a test spot with a product I received which revealed my findings. See pics in this thread: http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum...7-review-ecotouch-dashboard-trim-cleaner.html

Here's a few pics of OPP applied to a few interiors I've done recently:

Other products that I have tried are 303, DP Interior Protectant, PB's Natural Look, and a few others I can't remember. If you don't go with OPP, I'd vote for 303 for great UV protection. Plus, I believe you can cut it 1:1 with water for an even more matte finish.

Thank you for the write up. The pics help tremendously. I like the fact that it helps repel dust. Being in the mountains we get a lot of it (dust).

No problem. I forgot to mention that OPP also has light cleaners in it so it's a 2-in-1 product. Obviously, if the plastic, vinyl, and leather is really dirty, you'll want a dedicated cleaner for it. Optimum just came out with Power Clean (an APC). Just from a couple test I did with it yesterday, it's fantastic. I'll be doing a review in the near future after I've had a chance to do a full test with it.

There ya go...being an enabler. :D

I'll keep an eye out for your review.

Armor All diluted in water all the way!!!!!!! Wipe on, wipe off

Of the ones that you mentioned I'd rank them like this. All of them good IMO.
Optimum Protectant Plus= Most matte; my favorite on light color.
303= Matte but a hint of shine.
DP= A little more shine than the other two.

I went from 303 to Opp since they look the same, smell the same, and Opp was cheaper.

:iagree: Optimum Protectant Plus rules:righton:

On a side note, I just received a few 17oz. bottles for resale from David at Optimum. It looks like they've changed the name from Optimum Protectant Plus to Optimum Leather Protectant. Although, there's a caption that says something about "works great on plastic/vinyl as well".

what kind of finish does the cockpit lemon leave?
