I've had good results with the magic eraser and then using a leather conditioner. If that doesn't work and you wanna go medieval on it try Go-jo ( or any other orange pumice ) and rub it in by hand and rinse away with damp cloth and use leather conditioner. just my 2 cents ... some my not...

I use Dawn Power Dissolver to clean the pads. It's in a little blue bottle at Wal-mart with all the other cleaning supplies. They look like new afterwards...

Wow that's incredible! I bet you added a lot to the value of their vehicle. I hope they take better care of it now. I need to get some Menzerna now that AG carries it. All the show and shines I've seen with it have fabulous results.
