Hey all nice folks, I am going to have my first detailing session this weekend using a Flex. This is of course on my daily driver. The products I have on hand now are Scholl S3 Gold, S30 S40, Wolfgang DGPS 3, and Collinite 845. Lets hope I can have some fun and results as well.

The APC needs to be diluted for interior jobs. I have 3D Orange Degreaser, which can be diluted 1:10, and Chemical Guys AllClean+ can be diluted 1:20 for interior jobs. The best approach I have found is to spray the diluted APC on to the dash etc, whilst avoiding any plastic trims, which can...

I paid equivalent to $345 in local currency. He did tell me it was switched on once for a customer view. Also warranted for 2 years. I am concerned that a "used" machine may give me issues down the line. But if it just has been switched on for a quick demo or so, and the internals are shiny...

Same question, I got my 4 inch backing plate out today, and it does have the 2 thin shims (or washers) in the pack. I did install them both, but did not work on the car yet. Are they supposed to be used with 4 inch backing plates too, or just the 6 inch backing plates ? Thanks.

Today I received my new Flex 3401 from local dealer. The guy told me this unit was used for one demo, but otherwise it is new and comes with full 2 year warranty. The problem is i opened the backing plate, and to me it looks somewhat used. Can you see these pictures and advise, if a new machine...

Is there any other brush attachment for 3401? As the reviews for this brush are not very encouraging. Or a screw adapter to allow my existing brush to be attached to the 3401 ?

Thats correct, no polishing. The plan is to follow the complete steps once I get the 3401. Random comment: My local dealer told me today the price in Europe for the new 3401 will be around Euro 350 mark. It will be available in Saudi Arabia in June/July approx (a month after release in Germany).
