To buy 3401 now or wait ?

GREAT polisher. However, it does take more "energy" when polishing, BUT, the forced rotation is 100% worth it!
By energy, do you mean one has to hold it to control walking or press it for results?

Check out my BMW E60 ride thread.

It takes more energy to control because of the forced rotation, especially on vertical panels(doors, fenders). You don't need to put a ton of pressure with this polisher. GREAT results, though. You can power through a detail without having to worry about the pad stalling or stopping.

By the way, in the E60 thread, you just clayed? No polish, right? You mention the swirl marks disappeared. You may have just covered them up with wax. They don't disappear without polishing.

I would agree. I'd wait and see if the long throw model is competitively priced. Knowing how excellent Flex products are, I don't think you'll regret waiting.

Thats correct, no polishing. The plan is to follow the complete steps once I get the 3401.

My local dealer told me today the price in Europe for the new 3401 will be around Euro 350 mark. It will be available in Saudi Arabia in June/July approx (a month after release in Germany).
