i just started mine up and have been making a couple hundred in the last few weeks. start with washes and work your way up, not just offering one type of wash (ie wash/wax in one formula, wash with high quality, wash/wax with high quality etc) and your kind of far from starting if you haven't...

i would have thought that after 2 applications of xmt i would have no clear left, but it had barely scratched the surface!

pretty sure you didn't really polish anything if you didn't have at least a PC....

so the other day i tried working on my old 5 series (bmw) and it took a couple passes w/ xmt 4 and orange pad to get SOME of the swirls out. i just went over the hood of my mom's gx470 (lexus) w/ xmt 3 and orange pad and it got out all the swirls and the paint was shiney reflextive etc...

i want a pressure washer and a foam gun!!!

i finally got it! i didn't do the whole car because it was approaching 5 hours for 1 step polish! i did 2 passes w/ xmt 4 one w/ xmt 3, one with xmt 1, then glaze, then wax! stilll some swirls in there though. pics later, i'm worn out and i haven't even done the interior yet :(

more pictures tomorrow. if you look, i photoshopped the pics so you can see the swirls better (so they can't hide in the white:D). btw, here's one more i took, kinda blurry though :( BTW, not done with it yet.. that;s just the major swirls... still gotta finish

sooo hard.. i got most of the swirls off a 10 year old car that has never been detailed using xmt 4 w/ orange pad, and xmt 1 w/ white pad... jesus. pics later when i finish the car.

what degreaser? so you don't touch the car? just let the high pressure and chemicals do the work (besides drying)? :applause: i need to get one of these, but they're kind of expensive if you don't already have a pressure washer :(

has someone ever blamed you for scratches that were already on their car before you detailed it? did you have to pay for it? what ended up happening?
