Aquawax: Am I using it correctly??

I never used it as a drying aid and had no problems whatsoever. No reason to let it sit just follow the directions. I didn't ever use a cotton cloth in spite of the directions though. Microfiber to apply & another to remove/buff.

Giving Out Quotes for Detailing a vehicle (aka how much do I charge)?

When I detailed for a living I NEVER gave a phone quote, I had to see the vehicle with the owner present. By doing so I could determine what was important to them, see what I was in for, explain the time & processes involved, and get to know them a little better. Then they got the...

Was I foolish to buy it?

Return it. There are so many polishers/buffers out there that will better serve you. That one is extremely limited in its use, pads, accessories, etc. It will make the work harder instead of providing the enjoyment you are seeking. I'm glad you finally got the disability approved, I know it's...

    Sticker Remover

Make sure that window is not tinted on the inside as in aftermarket tint. If so everything will come off with the stickers so the owner would need to make a Yea or Nay decision.

Does detailing suffer from the public underestimating how much work goes into it?

The vast majority of folks have no idea what effort, time, supplies, and equipment goes into a full fledged detail. To them "detail" means wash, wax, and vacuum. Much of my detailing work was done in Brownsville TX which is the most impoverished area in the USA. Talk about a tough crowd! I...

    What's everyone's thoughts on the Covid-19 situation?

I fear it will collapse the US economy due to the many business failures that are already happening. If the auto industry goes then hang on.

I've never had to change my clothes during a detail... Until now

Did your quote exceed the worth of the entire vehicle? Mine would have. If accepted, payment in advance (cash) would be required.

How do I eliminate rust on brake hubs and calipers?

I doubt seriously that it can be eliminated. Temporary removal is a more real approach.
