Ive never run into a problem with using Mothers Mag polish on exhaust tips. Cleans them up well and gets rid of most baked on dirt also.

What year is the g37? I ask since mine is a '10 and I've had no issues correcting the paint, although it is on the soft side a bit.

Pictures would help a ton but im assuming the foam could either be dirt that is coming to the top or it could be the color of whatever product your using.

Gotcha. The wheels did say DB on them and they did get cleaned with a non acidic cleaner so ill chalk it up to lesson learned. Glad I didn't go to aggressive when polishing the wheels.

I dont think there is a way to do that, better luck by actually buying a foam cannon. The plastic components in the foam gun will not handle the higher PSI of a pressure washer.

Did you inspect your work at any point after using any compound? Never proceed with the second step (polishing) if you have not leveled what you need to first. Otherwise your wasting time and product.
