Anyone have a problem with grease/oil coming out of the PC 7424 or Edge Adapter ?

Sorry for the delay in replying but I am away on vacation with my family this week and have limited internet. There is no grease in the adapter at all, and therefore NO CHANCE that grease is comming from the adapter or system. Sometimes if you place alot of polish or compound in the center of...

    Edge 200:Wool Pads

Ok, so you are reading this right except for one small tidbit of info. When we die the natural white yarns black the die actually encapsulates the fiber and makes is microscopically a bit thicker and hence more agressive than regular natural white wool. This is idea for heavy cutting...

    Edge 200:Wool Pads

To Clarify, Natural White is 100% wool cutting pad also an agressive pad. We wanted our wool line to match our foam in color and texture so we made 5 types of wool ranging from heavy cut (black) like our foam to very soft (white lambswool). However there are many people that cannot get over...

    Edge 200:Wool Pads

One cool thing about our wool pads other than we make 5 colored textures and the quick connnect auto centering system, is that we are the only company that puts a patented indicator system in the pads to let you know when the wool pad is worn out. Unlike foam which you can see is worn out...

Honestly, I don't think at this point I need to justify the safety and ease of use of The ShMiTT. We have so many happy customers over the last year since its launch and none who have done any marring whatsoever to their cars and who are very happy with the product. We even did over a year of...

I very respectfully disagree that with even moderate pressure the bumps go flat, we made them a certain height in order to keep that from happening and we have it confirmed by many users, here is one. shMITT. - Detailing World

    Foam pads..Foam differences

You had on old discontinued version of the Blue foam in Dura-foam which is harder. That was changed over on all blue and white pads from Durafoam to regular polyester foam because it was softer and was to be a polishing and finishing pad. We don't make the blue and white in durafoam anymore so...

Thanks so much for that, it really means alot, I can't tell you! We work really hard to constantly improve and innovate. Truth is, we were very hurt that a company we respected and had a good relationship with would copy the technnology that we innovated and try to push the ShMiTT off the...

    Done with Edge!

I thought I did that on the first page of this thread, and so did Jason at Autogeek where the pads were purchased. All I am saying is sometimes people post out of frustration instead of contacting either Edge or Autogeek for some direct resolution and this is the result. I can promise that if...

Any one ever had this problem with the edge pads?

Its not the plastic disc, its the glue, and we don't glue the edges together on purpose because we don't want hard glue at the edge of the pad so the glue is recessed inside. Don't press that edge against the paint just lightly feather it and you will be ok. Its kind of like not pressing hard...

Joe once again you have jumped into the ring and tried to stir things up with me. I did not bash anyones product, I made a very fair comparison to problems with velcro and stated quite clearly that "everyone has velcro LIKE LC" That was not even remotely an attack on LC or any other...

    Original Edge Pad help

8 Inch pads will not work on the PC or orbital machines at all. The glue is not meant for them. We make a 6 inch pad with special yellow glue just for this machine and heat issues and all of our E2K pads are made with the same glue. I would take them back to the store where they recommended...
