Death of a Detailer... Kenny's Bmw

Very nice work. I'm curious as to your approach on and around these body moldings? Whats your technique? I have some similar ones that I don't really know how to go about buffing.

What do you do with your car cover?

So I just purchased a real nice Cover King satin car cover for my mustang. It's one of the real nice form fitting ones. Anyways, I know the proper technique of how to put it on and remove it, but I am curious as to when you guys do and do not put them on? For example, my car is clean and I...

    Need some reassurance/tips

Instead of starting a new thread I figure I'll just keep all my questions in here. So I'm just about done wet sanding the hole car to get rid of all the orange peel but I've got a few spots left I'm not sure what approach to take. Need some help from the pro's. I have a body molding that goes...

    Holograms, what are they?

I was actually just reading up on this same thing. Theres a couple of "sticky" articles in here on this same thing. Here's one. http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/circular-polishers-rotary-polishers-high-speed-polisher/20433-what-am-i-doing-wrong-holograms-after-using-rotary-buffer.html Go in...

I Cringed When I Saw "An Auto Detailer" Do This

I saw just this yesterday on my way home from work. I was stopped at alight right next to one of these places. I watched the guy use the same towel to dry the car then the wheels. As he walked back around the car he was wiping at all of the drips...with the same towel.

    Need some reassurance/tips

So I ordered some M105 and 205 yesterday, why not. If I hit the 105 with the rotary, do you think I can get away with the 205 on the DA? Or would I still need to use the rotary for that step? Of course I'd rather use the DA if I can so I have less of a chance of screwing something up. Thanks

    Booooo Tracers...Boo

:iagree: I've heard it explained its when the primer was not given enough time to cure and actually shrinks back into the sanding marks. I may be way off though.

    Fish Eyes

So I just repainted my car and I've got a couple fish eyes. Nothing terrible, maybe 4 or 5 over the hole car. I've researched the heck out of it but wanted to get some more personal responses. Whats the best way to fix these? My thought so far is to lightly sand in the fish eye, then with a...
