Did a headlight restore today with my 3" griots and went to clean my foam pad with my new pad cleaning brush (wich ive never used before) and tour it to SHREDS, i said what the heck damn brush but it wasnt the brush it was me. I am a amateur and had the freeking thing on 6 dah yes next x it will be on 1.

Steve always learning.

Usually if I use it. Which is rare, I just hold the pad and lightly brush the brush across, and at an angle.

On the bright side you could've just saved me from doing the same thing. Ive never used one before and just ordered my first one. Thanks:xyxthumbs:

Sorry to hear about your pad but we live and learn at least next time you know, and hey we all makes mistakes no matter how professorial or newbie we are

I have been cleaning my pads on 3, anything higher than that without it touching the paint makes me think it is going to fly apart even without touching it with a brush
