Someone get me up to date...

I ask because I can't seem to figure out why it is better, and it seems to me a fairly expensive product... So why use it?

Someone get me up to date...

So what is this ironX stuff and what does it do? Why is it better than say clay or a traditional scrubbing?

    Time between coats of Klasse?

As the title suggests... I'm putting on 2 coats of Klasse SG and I'm wondering how long I should wait before applying a second coat. I put one on about 3 hours ago. Can I apply another one now? In 12 hours? 24 hours?

Collinite - not so bad after all?

So far, I've used Meguiars gold class and ultimate waxes. They are easy to wipe off, but they tend to 'grab' the microfiber like velcro. But, that might also be user error. I definitely apply those thicker than I did the collinite

Collinite - not so bad after all?

Just wondering why it seems like quite a few people are fussing about how hard it is to apply/remove. I just did a small test spot on my car with the 476 and even after waiting an hour for it to fully dry, it wiped right off. I would even go so far as to say it is one of the easier waxes I've used.

Another "why is there air?" question

My water is fairly medium. It's not hard, but not soft either. Lol. The dirt is lots of road dust, but its not gritty or sandy as you describe.

Another "why is there air?" question

Strange. When was the last time you clayed and/or waxed? And what wax/soap do you use? I clayed 3 months ago, waxed twice since then. Both soap and wax I use are Megs Ultimate.

Another "why is there air?" question

2 weeks outside 24/7 since last wash, hasn't been waxed for a month, maybe a bit more. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OBqAmEQxqUI]Dirt coming off - YouTube[/video]

Another "why is there air?" question

Not really sure what to say... Dirt just falls off when I hose my car down

Winterizing my car - too much/too little?

'03 Subaru Forester (mine) '08 Toyota Highlander '10 Jeep Wrangler 4 door '02 Jeep Wrangler My parents keep their cars until ~100k then get rid of it. So I am less concerned about that. I'd like to keep mine as long as I can until the thing starts to fall apart haha.

Winterizing my car - too much/too little?

Ehhh, I'd be a bit nervous about opti-coat. Just because of the cost per application. And I don't have the money to get a couple syringes of that to do my + my parent's cars. Really what I am looking for is bang/buck and these products seem to be at the top of their class while being...

Winterizing my car - too much/too little?

I live in Seattle, Washington. So we get some rain, the occasional snow, and where I live - the condensation that forms on my car freezes every night. the vehicle is also parked outside 24/7 The car is my daily, it is an '03 and I plan to keep it for another 10-15 years. I don't buff the paint...

    Wowo....

Could someone explain to me how this works? I am having a hard time imagining how any product can remain on the paint if it is applied then immediately wiped off without any cure time?

how many of you are no longer using clay?

I still use clay. It's cheap, readily available, works, and one bar seems to last me forever

    Klasse vs #476s?

Oh, so AIO is more of a cleaner? Good to know! How about just klasse glaze with 476 on top of it? How many layers do you think would be beneficial before I reach the point of deminishing returns?

    Klasse vs #476s?

I have a white '03 forester that is parked outside 24/7. I am looking for what will protect the paint the most and keep it looking good 10-15 years from now(that's how long I plan on keeping the car) but without needing frequent reapplication. I have been reading and for bang/buck, I have...

    Megs d151 any good?

Seems like it's a fairly cheap polish. Just wondering how good it is? I'm trying to detail my mom's car as a surprise when she comes back from a trip and this seems like a fairly convenient/cheap all in one.
