I haven't had a problem re-using applicators. I have used the gold finger pockets so far and just spray with Megs APC+ right away, agitate, and rinse. No issues so far.

Build up of product will also make it harder for the pad to rotate. Working clean goes a long way with helping the pad rotate easily.

Just want to re-iterate how important good lighting is no matter what color the paint. Good lighting goes a long way in making this coating easy to apply and to help keep from leaving high spots.

I thought about pouring the hyper compound/polish into another bottle but then it loses the "convenience factor" of it being in a spray bottle. Might have to give it a try anyway. :xyxthumbs:

The pics above really don't do justice to how beat up the paint is on this car. A white pad would be too mild to cut through the damage. The microfiber pads give the extra cut needed to clean this thing up. I like using the D300 compound because in my experience it has a longer working time...

Started compounding today. I got the "doghouse" done. Except for the front bumper...too rashed up. Just want to say that I tried the Optimum Microfiber Cutting Pads with D300...damn good pads and finish down really nice.
