May have been my review... DP Paint Coating Review I would definitely think that temps like that would make the product flash probably too fast to be able to keep track of where it is being applied and when you need more product. Good lighting would go a long way to help see where the product...

My first try with the coating I over applied. I was working on a white car in crap light conditions (wasn't in my own garage). I buffed after each application just to make sure I wasn't leaving any high spots since I couldn't see how the product was being distributed. I also used Griot's Pre...

I didn't really pay much attention to how much pressure I was applying when using the polish. I just made sure the pad was spinning. Polish did a great job prepping the surface. I used Griot's Pre-Wax Cleanser on the first car I did and I much prefer the Prep Polish.

I have been having fun watching the dew that beads up during the night just fly off my hood when I hit about 40 mph. :dblthumb2:

I never thought to use a headlamp. Would never have to worry about working in crap light conditions and probably waaaaaay easier to follow your progress while you work.

I picked up the DP Coating kit last week and decided to try it out first on a buddy's Camaro ZL1. I failed miserably at getting a lot of pics of the car and there are virtually no before pics. Not to mention they are cell phone pics. We have all seen a dirty car and can imagine what it looked...

This was my first time using a WOWA or coating type product so over-application is very possible for me.

My car is dark grey and I am hoping it will be easier to see when I coat mine. It flashed very fast for me as well. Panels were cool as it was 65-70 degrees out when I was doing it. I buffed with a purple super plush after doing each section.

Looks good! I agree with you on how much product had to be used. Still a lot left but I can't see getting 15 cars out of a bottle. I was working on white paint and had a hard time keeping track of where I had applied it as it does flash off very fast.
