Purchasing a Flex XC3401: Could Use Some Help with Pads

Hybrids rock on the flex! I use both 5" on the LC BP and 6.5". The Flex does get warm and I had a issue with my LC BP melting after 3 panels (AG replaced). I now have the LC BPs on both my Flex's and swap out after each panel. The flex likes to walk a little and the bigger pads multiply it...

Hello from the armpit of New Mexico!

Welcome, my wife and I are also stationed at Cannon. I did the same and opened a mobile detail shop awhile back. I'm retiring from the AF this week and get to detail full time. I have two flex 3401s, two gg6 as well as a gg3. If you want to use a flex before you order one, you are more than...

    What made life easier?

I was trying to link to it but can't find it now. I saw a post awhile back for a home made pad washer. The guy cut drain holes in a 5gal bucket and the raised a grit guard using legs made out of wood. Soak the pad... Place the pad on the guard and pressure wash. Dirty water drains out the...

    Poor Customer Service

I've had the same issue with LC yellow pads. Figured the foam consistency caused the glue to not stick as well. Not really a defect, just a shorter life span for that type pad. I save the yellows for when I really need them and expect to replace them more often. My price increases slightly on...

    Detailing Trailer Ideas

I don't have pictures handy at the moment but I built a long 5"x5" rectangular plywood box. I then cut circles out on top and bolted it to the wall of my trailer. Holds 12 bottles and I've never had one fall out while driving.

    Expert advice needed

I started off with a greenworks and from day one I wanted to upgrade. It worked but the hose was cheap and easy to kink. I'm not sure how long it would have lasted since my trailer got broke into and they took it. I had a job lined up so I went back to Lowes and got a Briggs and Stratton which...

How long should I wait for shipping before my concerns are warranted?

I was in the same boat. Order placed and no confirmation of shipping received within a few days. I was notified today by UPS that the package will be here tomorrow. It was shipped the day after I placed my order. Hope yours is the same and they just forgot to notify you of shipping.

John, Sorry I just saw this. The generator is top notch in my opinion. I've had no maintenance issues with it. I run both flex and griots polishers. I also run the Mytee HP100, shop vac, 2 stage master blaster and both my water pump and pressure washer with it. I also use it to power my camper...

    Cutting big mistake...

I had a car awhile back that had been resprayed on one of the doors. Orange foam with 105 on my flex put a nice little burn thru the clear. Rest of the door was fine. I think it was a defect in the paint but all the same I caused the burn. I didn't charge for the detail and offered to pay for a...
