The pictures of the surface corrected that you did is actually pretty good, except you can really see the micromarring that was caused by either not working the polish enough or using too aggressive of a combo at the end.
Consider using what you have (to get it to the picture's status again)...
Do what 6LS2 said, of which actually may still not be enough. I have a feeling that youre going to get tired of XMT3 not cutting enough and will probably move up to either a yellow pad and/or xmt4.
Try the least aggressive combo first though, no sense in taking more than necessary off...
Souveran is what you need for the black paint.
As for the Souveran Spray Wax, you had it right as long as youre not letting it dry before you buff. Simply spray once, spread, flip your MF towel, and buff.
Best QD IMHO, is Crystal Mist, hands down.
like supercharged said, i have also used it on my 00 Acura TL and my grandfather's Lariat F150. Its a nice product but the smell is VERY potent. I prefer Pinnacle just because of that.
