Scratching the car with Rinseless/Waterless wash?

With frequent water restrictions in my area, ONR and UWWP are the only way I am able to keep my vehicles clean when restrictions are in place. I've been using ONR for years without issue. I even use the products on my black corvette without issue. If you know anything about corvette paint, you...

    Best AIO?

I've been very pleased with XMT 360. I usually top it with Optimum Car Wax since OCW is so easy to use and the results are outstanding. Honestly, almost any product will provide excellent results using a polisher with good technique and pads.

    Water Restriction in place

Dealing with water restrictions is common in my area. I have used ONR for my rinseless wash for several years and I have not been disappointed. If my vehicles are very dirty, I'll use a 1 gallon Home Depot bug sprayer with 1oz of ONR to pre soak the panels. For waterless wash, I use UWWP+...

    2010 Black C6

As an owner of a black C6, I can truly sympathize. The clear is so easy to mar, but it is a pain to correct!

    what sealant

I've been pleased with XMT 360 Cleans, Corrects, Seals topped with Optimum Spray Car Wax (OCW). Since the vehicle is a daily driver and lives outside 24x7, I top with OCW about every three weeks to keep it looking good. Since OCW is a spray, it's as easy to use as a quick detail spray. I use...

    Recommened polisher/buffer

I have a Griot's Garage polisher which I really like due to the power of the polisher and lifetime warranty. It comes with a 6" backing plate, but I'd recommend going with a 5" backing plate and 5.5" 7/8" thick flat pads. The smaller flat pads are easier to work with and use. Also, search out...

Looking to detail my truck for the first time.

Also, are you going to be working by hand or using a polisher? Do you have any existing products you plan to use or are you going to being ordering product?

    XMT 360 AIO comments.

What issues did you encounter? I use LC 5.5" 7/8" thick flat pads with XMT 360. I have not had issues the combo. The times I've used XMT360 it has finished out clear.

    Favorite all purpose cleaner

So far, I've used OPC as a stain remover for carpets/mats, door jamb cleaner, tire cleaner, and tar remover on the vehicle exterior.

    Favorite all purpose cleaner

+1 for OPC. I had what appeared to be oil stains on one of mats. I tried a couple of other cleaners I had, and they didn't make much difference on the stain. I sprayed OPC on the stains, agitated with a carpet brush, and the stain was gone. A couple of weeks ago, I was touching up a piece of...

    Detailing spray

I use Ultima Waterless Wash Plus concentrate (UWWP+) as my quick detailer, waterless wash and bug remover. It works great leaving a glossy, smooth finish and is very economical if purchased in concentrate form. The concentrate will make over 5 gallons of UWWP for $21. I've transitioned from...

    M105 Beginner Application

I have a GG, and it comes with a 6" packing plate. I wanted to use the 5.5" flat pads so I had to order another backing plate.
