    Big thank you to Al-53

Guys that are checking their local stores... call first. I went to one which didn't have it, and they looked so disorganized that I thought there was no way any other stores would know if they had a Brinkmann if I simply called... my "hair lady" told me that same day that she stops by there...

    Done with Edge!

I'm with Joe P. here... why does it matter what problems any other competitor has? If people are complaining about your product, why mention someone else's shortcomings? I think the point here Aaron is the fact that if the products keep failing, there's no point in replacing them and hoping...

    Done with Edge!

Was that a Meguiar's backing plate by any chance?? I've had a Meg's bp ordered from Autogeek go bad through the heating of the PC and the velcro separating... it's very obvious as well because the velcro around the edge grabs onto the pad, then when you pull that off (slowly peel it from the...

    Big thank you to Al-53

You'll love the lights Nica once you start using them more and more. And a :applause: to AL-53... he offered to send me one as well but I found one locally for $16... I feel like an idiot for ordering my first one for $35+ from Brinkmann... I should have 3 by now, not 2 :D

    Need help choosing polishes

Joyof driving, no offense to you, but I really think you should do a little research on a few different brands of polishes, what pads they're used with and what results they yield... every polish line has a more abrasive polish that will take out reall rough stuff from the paint... the only...

    Need help choosing polishes

Any polish used with a PC will take longer to break down than with rotary. I have had good experiences with Meguiar's stuff since that's what I use 95% of the time It doesn't take much longer to break down than with the rotary and works great with Lake Country 6.5" pads... one example I can give...

Looking for a strong safe wheel cleaner

Any advantages of gel over regular P21S wheel cleaner?? I can see gel is more expensive, and I've only dealt with the regular one...

Edge v LC CCS - which is better

IMO there's no difference in durability, ease of use, or performace... it's all a matter of personal opinion so you should try out both and see which you like better... I'm 100% sure there will be someone on the boards who will purchase the stuff you don't like

    Need help choosing polishes

Suggestions include: Meguiar's Menzerna Presta Optimum... Etc etc etc etc I would listen to killr and use Menzerna... SIP and 106ff would probably be enough for you with yellow, orange, green and white LC pads

Looking for a strong safe wheel cleaner

I use P21S and Meguiar's wheel brightener... Meg's WB should be diluted 4:1 per instructions, but I do it 5-6:1 and use only on painted wheels, as it dulls polished ones. P21S from my experience is gentle enough for anything but it is a bit pricier compared to others.

    New Car Detailing

Don't mean to jack the thread, but I have a similar question... a potential client has a brand new 997 and I'm wondering if it's safe to polish and/or wax it yet. I'm assuming paint is cured enough to apply waxes, clay, etc. but is it safe for polishing. Thanks
