When my Flex broke a couple years back we sent it to an authorized dealer in Tennessee, who sent it back a week later and said they no longer work on them. We then sent it to Powerhouse in - I think - Iowa. Meghan posted a link a few days back for them, look under the flex forum link...
Not sure of the rules on linking to other sites, but the name is Precision Brush. If you can't find what you're looking for on there, they'll design one for you...doubt it's at a Wal Mart price though.
We detailed a Kia Sorento this morning and came away with a couple things. First off was the fuel door, made out of plastic instead of metal. It felt cheap and I doubt it lasts the ten years. That was an early indication to me of how I perceived the vehicle to be built. If they take the...
Bonjour! Mon nom est Chris, bienvenue sur le forum.
Played hockey through college and was around quite a few french-canadiens, but the above is about all I can come up with anymore unless I need you to pass me the puck.
Love the frog too, reminds me of an old band called the Toadies.
We purchased a canopy through Caravan Canopies, based out of California, four years ago and use it multiple times a day. It's 10 x 15 with our name and number on top, and it also came with two sides and weights. Grand total was in the ballpark of $1,000.00, but well worth it. Parts and...
Thanks for your input.
I have a PC that we use for sealant and wax applications that can obviously get a job done, but I heavily prefer the Flex. Buying another one will likely happen sooner than later 'cause I now kinda look at my Flex half expecting it to stop working. Sorta that gun shy...
On Flash's suggestion I took my Flex to the Armature in Knoxville. They were too busy - a week or more out - to take care of it in the time frame I needed, so they referred me over to Brady Tool Service on Magnolia Avenue. I dropped the Flex off with them yesterday around 1300 and they had it...
Hey B & B! Not sure if I ever said hello before but hello. Been off of this site since the weather turned good and hadn't realized how many more folks from East Tennessee are on here. Hope you have a good day off!
No smell. Seems like the cord connection came loose inside the housing, I'm currently staring at it wondering if I should just take that apart and see if it's something obvious, but the can of worms that could be opened by doing that....
Was polishing out a TL this morning and my Flex began going in and out, losing power intermittently. She would come back on for a panel and then go out again until she finally stayed out.
I had a similar problem before which Powerhouse took care of under the warranty, but they had my Flex...
Hey Kris,
We use our Verizon serviced, Droid Incredible when we're on the road for email, billing, and scheduling. We also have a laptop, but it's a bit of a pain to break out when we're working. The phone is easiest and user friendly.
$2,200!?! Someone is making $2,200 to teach someone how to detail?
The only Dalton I'd ever pay that much money - for any kind of lessons - used to work in a bar in Jasper, MO.
Awesome job! Your reflection shots are great!
That's an awesome car too!
I drove one once, but right after I avoided the roadblock I came on a curve doing 150 and smashed it into a guardrail. Cops got me!
I loved that car.
You will know if you've cut through the clear.
Unless you've got single stage paint on the roof, it's most likely from the trim lines.
Pictures would help.
