Water spots on vehicle coated in June 2017

To the OP, what's up Paul? I didn't know you moved to AZ... that's crazy! It's so hot here during summer lol! NH has better weather :) Have the water spots etched into your paint? IMO, water spots are inevitable here in AZ esp from monsoon rains. But it's not as bad as water spots from...

Water spots on vehicle coated in June 2017

Rasky is one of the most well respected detailers in the country. He has done lots of tests with pictures and data to back them up. Manufacturers have asked him numerous times to test their new products for them and provide honest feedback. Heck, even Jeff from Griot's Garage made him a beta...

    Your favorite "smelling" leather cleaner?

I haven't used a lot of leather products yet but my favorite smelling so far is the McKee's AIO Leather Lotion.

Free samples from the AG store - what's going on?

Oh dang... They really cut it down A LOT. I thought it was bad a year or two ago when they removed some of the expensive items like the WGDGpS3.0 sample from the list. Then when PBMG got sold, the McKee's samples went away too. But this is crazy! Only 1 product from Pinnacle and only 3 from...

    Monster Chevy Truck!!!

Holy cow Scott! That's seriously some fantastic work man! The black paint looks perfect. How did you polish the roof on that thing lol! That monster has a lot of real estate - how long did it take you to detail it?

    Matte rims - coating ?

My wheels are matte and I coated it with Opti-coat 2.0. It barely added gloss so if that's what you're worried about, you'll be fine. As far as performance, the coating is doing what it's supposed to do.

    Paint correction over multiple sessions?

It's no better. I think they all achieve the same result. But if I would spread the detail between days or even weeks apart, I would want to at least seal the panels I've worked on. I wouldn't compound half the car today, half the car next week then polish when you can and seal it later. You...

    Paint correction over multiple sessions?

Nope. It will be fine doing that. In fact, I've done this before. You can wash, clay, compound, polish, seal one panel at a time if you'd like. If you're doing this process one panel a week, maybe it's best to wash the entire car each time. That way your car is always clean lol! Or you...

    Review: McKee’s 37 Glass Coating

Hi Lou, The directions doesn't specify anything. But I've always waited 24 hours before getting the sections wet with water and wait a week before washing with soap or any other chemicals. This was the curing instructions of Opti-coat 2.0 back then and I've applied this to all the coatings...
