Nice Work and Products! How easy would you say the paint was to correct 1-10? 1 being the easiest.

For the protection I would use DP Poli-Coat Sealant available here at Autogeek I bought my 14' Charger in the fall and applied this the next day after washing, claying and polishing. Great protection and beading. If you don't want to spend alot of time on your car every weekend this sealant...

Things I used... 1. Rubber Pet Hair Brush to gather the bulk of the hair first. 2. Work gloves with the rubber palms. For this one I think the rubber was Polyurethane, but natural rubber works fine too. 3. Strong vacuum and just repeated about 10 times until all the hair was removed. Total...

Both have there strong points, but once you learn all the tricks with a steam cleaner there hard to beat. Mastering one or the other will also make your process faster.

Usually Toyota paint is mid to soft from my experience, but not this one... This Highlander is black with blue Metallic. The combo that finally worked was a finish pad and compound to get swirl removal. Tomorrow I'm going to finish it off with a finish polish. Has anyone ever experienced...

Edit: *If you tape and prep right there's no need to wash after compounding and polishing. Take your time and Good Luck!

Day one.... Wash, Clay and compound (M105) if you tape and prep right there's no need to wash. Since your compounding you really don't even have to clay. Day Two... Polish with M205 Seal Done.

This is a very easy fix. Finish pad, finish polish and DA. No need to complicate an easy problem.

Opti can also be applied to all exterior surfaces (chrome, plastics, etc.) with the option to still machine polish without removing the product. This is where the permanent part helps, meaning it won't wear off in a few years. I've used it on windows or anything else in my path with outstanding...

I have used the Opti-Coat 2.0 many times and would buy that product for the longevity alone. Opti is permanent protection and I believe the Black Label is 3 years.
