Buff n Shine Pads on GG

never mind I see in the description on another site I believe this is to convert a backing plate to mount onto a rotary tool, rather than a DA. The BnS BPs have 5/16-th threaded posts like Lake Country so I assume the BnS foam pads will fit no problem on a standard Velcro backing plate like the...

Buff n Shine Pads on GG

I see these pads have their own backing plate and DA "threaded adapter" Having never seen one, will these pads (just the pad) go onto a LC BP? In other words, if I have GG6 with LC 5" and LC 3" BPs, can I just get some 3" and 5.5" Buff n Shine pads and slap 'em on the BP?

Any one using 3" pad on 6" Griots DA

Really? I find it to be really smooth. Deebo, I used mine when it was 35 out (Chicago) to polish my windows. Yes the neighbors walking the dog probably thought I was insane polishing car windows in the driveway in near-freezing temps but whatever!

Bought a PC & Wolfgang Twins Need Help Choosing Right Pads

I have three pads of each color but I also have an air compressor. I am curious if using the air compressor to blow off the dried dusty product is quick and sufficient to keep going with one pad for the whole car after each section?

    Cracked Wax Container

Truthfully the wife and I don't own Tupperware. We have all glass reusable containers. I can't stand plastic crap that winds up in a landfill eventually once it becomes unrecyclable. I'll find an aluminum tin somewhere...I didn't even realize this wax container was plastic. I thought it was...

    2 bucket...1 bucket too many

Huh? With all due respect... 2 bucket method: - one bucket of water - two buckets of water - washing machine 1 bucket method: - one bucket of water - washing machine Since the one bucket is never completely empty you can dunk all the dirties in the remaining water and get them...

    Cracked Wax Container

I have a container of wax that was plastic, and I dropped it. Crack... I want to find a replacement container only (empty), I can't seem to find one via Google. Anyone know a source? Are these sold at all?

    2 bucket...1 bucket too many

Agreed the car can't be totally dirty. My method above - which seems similar to a guy named Gary Dean apparently, assumes the big chunks have been blasted or hosed off. Top down washing, and the MFs are inspected. Thirteen towels ensures one per panel so really, what's going to go wrong? The...

    Sparkly

Here's some pics of the 303 on my Mazda trim. What was once gray is now a nice black that looks new, not wet or greasy at all. Just a solid black with a slight shimmer.

    Sparkly

The pics dont do it justice unfortunaley. The gloss is deep, so deep! 303 goes a long way. I spritz a MF pad once, lightly, to do half a car door - once it has been primed. Twice for the whole dash. Afterward my plastic/vinyl has a slight shimmer but does not look wet. It looks as though it...

    2 bucket...1 bucket too many

I get the idea behind the two bucket, but as an engineer who is always looking for a better way, i have what i think is a better method...the one bucket. 1) fill a bucket 2/3 with water 2) add some soap, just a little bit 3) dunk 13 small MF towels folded up 4) use a MF towel for each panel 5)...

    Annoying neighbor help....

BTW, there are rules in just about any town for noise control. For example, workers usually can work from 8am to 7pm. Barking dogs usually follow the same rules.

    Annoying neighbor help....

I've never met them, just nodded to the guy when he leaves his driveway. SOunds like this is your problem. Why not discuss it amicably with them and not us? "Hi, I'm your neighbor, and I noticed you got a new dog. He's a beautiful dog. If you don't mind I'd like to see if you can help me with...
