    I thought the PG dried out quick, dusted, and was generally not as easy to use as the SIP or Nano. I also had some 3M compound, but did not use. This is what the painter used to buff out after color sanding.

    Sanding aluminum trim: Wet or Dry?

    Jim, In your experience, can you chrome plate a piece of anodized aluminum trim, without removing the anodizing? Asking about a grill off of a 59 Chevy Impala. My brother is going to see about having this done.

    Purchased PC kit, suggest polish?

    I have not tried the Megs or the wolfgang or Pinnacle combos, but I have been very impressed with the Menzerna Power Gloss, SIP, and Nano trio. It has worked wonders so far with just a PC or Griots machine.

    On a different note, we were working on my brother's 1959 Chevy project and he was cleaning some plastic lenses that had old dried wax on them. I told him to use peanut butter to remove it. They thought I was nuts, tried it, and it worked great.:props:

    RV Detailing Help

    I'll ty what I have on hand and it sounds like I may need to put in a new AG order.:D It's too hot to detail this big sucker right now and we have plans for the next two or three weekends. Hope the AC holds up! It should need a good washing after the three trips.

    I think a good cleaning and protection but it is sort of dull, so maybe polish too. It is big (31') and I have a PC. I may give the XMT360 a shot. Right now it has been too hot and we are going camping this weekend, so it will have to wait.:cheers:
