    SSII...VERY Dissapointed...WTF???

Yea...those were the same thoughts I've been having. I haven't thrown it away, LOL. I'll do my full spring cleaning/prep and give it another fair try. I know there's a reason...there's no way I had this poor of a performance following what all I've heard from you guys about it.

    SSII...VERY Dissapointed...WTF???

OK guys, please let me say this first...I swear from the bottom of my heart I am not trolling here! So I'm new to Pinnacle stuff and bought a can of SSII to try this year after all the reveiws. Well, a few weeks ago I got around to trying it out. I didn't do it as part of my "spring...

    LC Pads Discoloring!?!?

My brand new white LC pads are discolored all the way around the edge. Theyre brand new and never used. Have no idea what's causing it either and both sizes are doing it. Why?? And does it hurt anything???

    Product Temperatures?

How about hot temps...that's mainly what I asked about anyways.

    Product Temperatures?

So what's your extremes for temperature range on leaving your products outside in the cabinet? I know paste waxes aren't to susceptible to damage from freezing, but other stuff is. So obviously no brainer on just bringing them in in the winter. But how about summer? Do you guys have an upper...

    Leather cleaner & conditioner

You beat me to it. Another one of those way underestimated product lines. Actually, Mothers has two leather options that both are top notch, and currently the only leather products in my cabinet. I use the separate cleaner & conditioner twice a year and keep a bottle of the reflections (it's...

Flex Polisher...What to do With My PC??

What are you guys doing with your 7424's retirement?? I'm thinking since there's no 5" backing plate (OTC) for the flex, I'll just leave the original and keep using 6.5" pads on that. Then change the 7424 over to a 4" pad and leave it that way for those appropriate areas?? Good plan? What...

    claying?

You can clay now, but when you get ready to start any paint work in a couple days I suggest a full washing again to prep the surface and make sure nothings hanging around. So I guess it doesn't really save you any time.

what are your opinions of the California Duster?

I literally could not live without one! I've lived in areas where I used it daily and it has never resulted in swirls, scratches, or any marks on the surface. You just have to have a limit on how dirty your car can be before you stop using it and never use it with any pressure or to 'remove'...

Polishing Bare Aluminum Wheels...Which LSP to Protect???

OK guys, so I started this other thread looking for ideas on which pads to use to clean up these horrible wheels. After testing a spot, I think I've got a good plan to get them polished out and cleaned up...but feel free to add more ideas if you have any. These wheels are bare, cast...

    Pads for Polishing Aluminum Wheels??

Updated pics of just how bad things are. Bottom pic is the area I did today with the wool pad and Mothers PowerMetal. Great potential. Wheels are a little pitted up from the corrosion, but will still look pretty good when finished.

    Pads for Polishing Aluminum Wheels??

Ha...I used a power cone/ball on my drill at full speed with several products (Mothers Power Metal, and a few various other metal/aluminum polishes)...it literally did not touch it. Did not make a single bit of difference. I can't explain how literally I mean it didn't clean up a single bit...

    Pads for Polishing Aluminum Wheels??

So I've got a set of bare, cast aluminum wheels that need A LOT of TLC. They are in bad shape from the salt and winter crap. These things have been a nightmare to take care of due to no coating of any type. These pictures don't even begin to show the damage/corrosion/stains on them, but more...

Updated 2/21: Mothers Back to Black vs. Faded Florida Trim

Re: Mothers Back to Black vs. Faded Florida Trim Once again...another very underestimated product from Mother's! I use Back to Black occasionally on the trim pieces that need it, which usually occurs after extended periods without Mother's Protectant...another overlooked product.

    Wheel Spacers...How Thick??

I don't think this part is a factor, and here's why. I will be using the spacers to retain the same offset on the new wheels as I currently have on my current wheel, which is aftermarket anyways. I will be running the exact same tire on the new wheel. There really should be no difference...

    Wheel Spacers...How Thick??

So what's your guys' opinion on wheel spacers? Here's my specific question though...how thick can you safely go without swapping to longer studs??? I ask this because I'm only looking at needing a spacer about 8mm thick, maybe 10 at the most, but probably stop at 8. Do you feel this is...

    Most durable wheel well dressing?

Hey Mark, I've actually had good luck with HD on my car in the wells at a weak 3:1. I consider it a small tradeoff in that any lack of durability is returned without having everything stick to it. Plus, with HD being water based, clean up is a breeze when necessary. I also like using a...

    Ice Storm Midwest Style....

I'm just across the river from St Louis and it is nasty right now. Wife went to work at 4:30 and the roads were almost dry here then. This crap has moved in fast. I don't know how the main roads are, but from my house to the neighborhood exit is by all practical purposed, impassable. Hope...
