    i agree that real paint correction can not be done in a little over an hour but you can fix a little and hide a lot. You can hit the heavier scratches first by spot sanding. I think the flex would do great with a heavy cutting foam pad and a aio product. just keep your pads clean

    The porter cable is an under powered piece of junk. You probably won't have any issues withe the hf polisher I have heard nothing but good stuff about them.

    I always use a rotary buffer in my pad washer on speed 1 then I take it out and slowly work my way up to speed 6 and spin dry my pads.

    Paint problem need help ASAP!!!!

    They are probably really etched in there because sprinkler water is unrefined with the tds probably well over 1500 ppm. It will be a task. Meguiars 105 or 101 then finish with 205. You might need to go with a hybrid wool pad from scholl or lake country to start. Finish with foam.

    It's my opinion that when you sand and buff a lens you need to seal it with a permanent coating like opti lens. Any other wax like products will actually speed up the process of degradation, because it absorbs the elements and a true chemically bonding sealers, seal them out.

    what I would suggest is to go to buschshineproducts.com. all they deal with is polishing metal. grab some of there aluminum wheel cleaner and their polish. the cleaner removes all the old polish and makes the wheel a lot easier to polish. then I would just go over them by hand with the...

    use your rotary with the wool and stay in between speed 2 and 3 don't use a lot of pressure just nice slow hand movement
