Sealant that will not stain trim

Maybe you should teach the Mother-in-law to apply your sealants; best of both worlds!

Sealant that will not stain trim

Can you please explain what you mean by staining? Is it darkening the plastic window trim or leaving some kind of white residue similar to a wax?

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Absolutely… the effort it takes was in the front of my head but I forgot to mention that too (evidence of how difficult it can be). Try to setup cameras, shots, script the important points you’d like to get across, then once you’ve “filmed” it all then go to the computer and edit, sync, add...

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

Brian, Pan, Ivan, Ammo Larry, OG Garage, Forensic, Car Craft Auto Sandro, Mike P., Budget, The Guz … they’re just people working “hard” to share their passion/expertise on a subject, make a living, and/or have the opportunity to try out new products without the large expense. You can’t really...

*Suggestion for under hood LSP product*

ERRR...UMMM... I'd be careful with an electric vacuum around any part of a car that could have volatile evaporates escaping from them (ie. engine gas lines) as the vacuum will suction up those gases and then the electric motor can easily ignite that gas creating a loud bang that could cause...

User friendly ceramic coating with a slick finish?

I agree with The Guz(cuz he knows, sorry couldn’t help myself :props:), Cquartz SiC (my current favorite)or Mohs Evo are both almost fool (If I’m that fool) proof and both deliver easy application and good longevity.

*Suggestion for under hood LSP product*

I just did this quickie post-winter underhood cleanup. Cleaned up the compost in the scuttle and then hit everything with some Opticlean/OPC(more oily bits). Agitated the cleaners with a Boars Hair brush on the textured plastics and just a microfiber towel for the smooth plastics. Once the...

    Spider Pads

I’ve got a stash of “Honey” spider pads to use for finishing. I believe most are a 'reticulated hybrid' foam which is a semi open cell foam (aside from the orange which is closed cell foam) that makes them somewhat stiffer by comparison. This makes them much more suitable for DA usage, as the...

What did you do today, in regards to detailing?

The Tail of the Dragon/Deals Gap is a stretch of road in NC/TN famous for 310 turns in 11 miles, once a nice ‘backroads’ drive before it became internet famous and now I think it has become so popular it’s difficult to find a time to drive it in the spirited manor that made it one of those...

The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

I'm all about what makes you happy not what "belongs", if that's a big block so be it but don't do it if it doesn't really suit your needs as an owner... Have you watched Engine Masters on MotortendTV? They have an episode on Chevy small block vs big block power, I love an engine that can rev...

    How To Remove Old Adhesive

Looking at the residue you’ve got on that cab I think it would take quite a while with chemicals and elbow grease. The 3m eraser wheel would get it off but you’ll need to polish afterwards and be careful not to induce too much heat… I’d go for a microfiber or wool pad on a DA and a fine polish...

The Post a Picture of Your Ride as it Sits Thread

I did my first oil change at 600 miles, by then the rings should have sealed and I wanted to get the particulate OUT (like you said oil is cheap insurance) it was pretty shimmery. Then the next at 1600 miles. Third at 3000 miles, and then every 3k or annually which ever comes first. I’ve got...

    Suspension ceramic coating?

I think either wheel coatings(DLUX or Wheel armor) would be fine to coat your suspension both are made for tougher environments. I’m about to add another coat(DLUX) to my summer and winter wheels not because they really need it but because it’s much easier to get done while the wheels are off...

    Found Rust Spots

That first one looks close to a window seal? If that’s the case you may uncover more than you expect as that may just be the tip of the iceberg that has been migrating water from the window finding its way into the edge of the steel panel. If you can touch it up sell it quick (or give it to your...

Pollen everywhere… not sure if my allergies will let me brave the outside to take care of business. And after I finished my sneezing fit (ok I’m still sneezing).
