Not very expensive at all, my buddy that work at the dealer put me on to them about 5 years ago, they were 5$ a piece then and i was happy, now I am getting them for less then 3$. I can usually do about 15 vehicles with one, if you just keep them folded and flip them as needed...I would say they...
Has anyone tried any of these things? I get them from the Chev dealer down the street from our shop, and use them quite a bit. They are excellent for just a quick dust without changeing the finish on your panels. they work awesome on woodgrain, and or plastic smooth finishes. for dusting...
Count me in, I will see how well it holds up in these cold Alberta temperatures...that will have to wait till winter though. I have a wet sand job lined up for late July, could put it to work then!
I have been using Meguiars products for 25 years, and have rarely found any that didn't work the way they said. They put a lot of time and research into their products. I am sure other suppliers do the same but you were asking about Meguiars specifically. Just my 2 cents!
Just saw this tweet from Griot's Garage: Best tweet of the weekend goes to... ~derek RT @brainfroth You should rename the heavy duty wheel cleaner to "Wheel Cleaner Awesomeness"
I guess the stuff must work pretty well, have to get me some!
I feel for you brother...I have beenwhere I am at in this dealership, watching it destroy itself from within, just cause talks of it being sold started 14 months ago. But some times if you can stick it out there is Light at the end of the tunnel (just hope it's not the train), In the end it did...
My current shop is at a dealership, so things are slightly different, as speed is required more then accuracy. We use 1/2 gal hand pump sprayers for the tire dressing....very sloppy, we use hand pump 2 gal garden sprayers for engine degreaser, and for a presoak we use, then we have susre shot...
I have used these things since the day I first found them at Wally World, now I buy them by the case at Costco. They have proven to be an invaluable tool in all aspects of the detailing process!
I would suggest you go straight too who you want to sell to...get your foot int he door with some and ask them to pass the word for a future discount. If there are certain bussiness offices you want to get into, offer them something usefull in there bussiness ex:realtors-help them understand how...
If you want to get them clean, try a Mr. Clean magic eraser, mild rubbing, slightly damp, works excellent on most vinyls and leathers, just check for color fastness first. Finish off with your choice of dressing, or protectant.
Most likely single use only on poorly maintained trade ins, I have been using ozone for years, just this machine sounds like it would kick the crap out of some of the machines I have used!
Thank you for the greetings, I look forward to helping any way I can and you guys have already given me some ideas, I will see what I can put together on detail shops being a profit center rather then a money pit, I will also reach out to other Canadians, and definitely I will be getting in...
