Meguiars Professional Detailer Choice

Question for only people that have used MEGUIARS PROFESSIONAL DETAILER CHOICE in the Gallon Concentrated JUGS!!!

I have used the All purpose cleaner from this line and it works great, but I am curious if the other products work just as good. Hyper Dressing, Shampoo Plus.....and the rest of them. I want to make a large order soon and want concentrates instead of order smaller bottles.

*****Please don't post alternatives here, I am looking just to see if the stuff performs the way it is spoken about.

Hyper Dressing and the Glass Cleaner are both great products. APC+ is ok for the not so tough jobs.
 
I have been using Meguiars products for 25 years, and have rarely found any that didn't work the way they said. They put a lot of time and research into their products. I am sure other suppliers do the same but you were asking about Meguiars specifically. Just my 2 cents!
 
I really like 151 and hyper dressing a lot! great products and great value
 
APC+ is nice, but nowhere near as good as OPC. Their glass cleaner is my fav, it works great and is super cheap. The body solvent is useless IMO. Might as well just let water sit on a bug, it would do as much as the body solvent.

Last Touch isn't bad for the price, but not my favorite. Express wax is also good for the price, but doesn't compete with some other quality products. All in all you really can't go wrong with Meguiar. Most of their products are at least solid, and some are great.
 
I really dislike Last Touch. It gets the bird droppings off, but not if I have to use it at work on a whole car. It streaks too much.
Body Solvent smells good, and I used it to clean out an old tire dressing bucket and it worked well, but I hear there is something like a 15 minute wait for it to work properly IIRC.
Wheel Brightener is pretty amazing but can knock a guy out if using in confined spaces.
APC+ is an excellent go to product, good dilution ratios so you can use a bunch and not worry about cost, same goes fro Super De-greaser.
The Paint Reconditioning Cream is amazing, no other way to put it.
Hyper Wash is pretty amazing too. I didn't think you could get away with 1oz of wash to 5 gallons of water, but I tried it and wow, they weren't lying. Leaves a nice clean scent on the wash mitts too.
Hyper Dressing is nice for diluiting down for an interior dressing, smells good too.
All Season Dressing is one of my favorite tire dressings/wheel well dressings. Nice shine to it, but not overly shiny.

Last Touch - I really like the appearance and slickness that this QD leaves. However, application can be somewhat picky and result in streaks. It does not cope well with hot (even warm) surfaces. I actually keep my spray bottle in the fridge for this very reason. If you spray too much product in one area, it will streak as well. I would highly recommend a spray head that atomizes product into a very fine mist. The QD itself feels very, very oily - probably the reason for the slick finish and streaky tendencies.

Glass Cleaner Concentrate - My go-to glass cleaner as it has great performance, safe for tinted windows, and is very inexpensive. Has a 10:1 ratio so 1 gallon of concentrate will get you 11 gallons of cleaner - all for about $14

Wheel Brightener - Extremely potent in both performance and possibly health reasons. Caked on brake dust does not stand a chance...keep away from bare metal / unpolished wheels. It may be just me but it eats through spray heads like no other. Regarding the health aspect, I have to wear gloves and a small all-purpose mask. The fumes burn my throat and can knock a horse down.

Super Degreaser - Didn't really do anything special for me. I have since purchased Zep Citrus/Orange Degreaser from Home Depot
 
This is a fantastic line! Meguiar's hit the 10 ring with this line and I use allot of them.

I have multiple gallons of everything in this line. It is a great way to save money and still get fantastic results. My favorites are the glass cleaner, apc+, hyper dressing and wheel brightener. There are many cars i have done using nothing but megs detailer line and they have turned great. The only thing they are missing is a good synthetic sealant and stronger cutting compounds. But you can fill in the blanks with 105/205 and M21.
 
If I could use only 1 line of products, this would be it. Work great and are priced well. What more could you ask for.
 
I am looking into this line as I am familiar with Poorboys, Pinnacle and Dp. Really haven't tried meguiars line yet besides for the APC+. I heard the Quick Detailer is too streaky, The body Solvent just doesn't do the job and couple other things......I mean I don't have an opinion quite yet because I have not tried many of there products, but thanks for the input.
 
funny thing is i've never had a problem w/last touch streaking. i put it inside a home depot 99cent bottle and it sprays perfectly and i never have a streaking problem.
 
i only dilute it for clay 1:1. otherwise i use it straight
