I used liquid souveran on my wife's black 335i after sealing it with WGDGPS 3.0. So far, I'm very happy with it. To me it's the best of both worlds, the protection of sealant and the shine of the souveran. Just make sure to let the paint sealant fully dry and cure before waxing over it...

I've always used clay or mineral spirits....but never tried it on the trim.

I had a Battery Tender installed on my HD V-Rod and it worked really well. The battery was always ready to go when I needed it. If I am fortunate enough to get a garage queen car or bike again, it will have one. They are cheap insurance.
