Re: Lead in automotive paints? I would assume your paint to be single stage paint. The red dust is most likely a mixture of spent residue and paint.

Yes and no. Yes you will use the same products, but no, you will polish these parts lightly and quickly. You will have to be more careful with plastic parts. They tend to be less resistant to heat and if it gets too hot, the paint softens up and the movement of your polisher will push the...

Very well done! :) An exotic on a matic transmission, too bad you can't get all the torque you want on specific gears. But that car is still awesome regardless of its transmission. :)

LOL. Thanks for appreciating the finish! I tried really hard to remove the orange peel, did a bit of wet sanding on some areas to get it really flat. I'm still learning on doing better write-ups. I'm trying to pick up on Corey by reading some of his. :) You're more than welcome. :)
