This in one of many cars owned by a client of mine and a good friend, 1970 El Camino with 63,000 original miles.....everything on this car is original all the way down to the radio.
He basically just wanted a good dusting off .....wash and wax for a upcoming car show, so no paint correction was done (as much as I wanted to, you do what a customer wants and pays for) its truly an amazing car for its age and runs like a charm...

Sorry, no before shots....battery on camera was dead....

Wow!! What a sweet ride! Nice job cleaning her up!

Thanks Dave.....Would have really like to have given it the royal treatment...Claying, polishing,Sealant and the topped off with 2 coats of wax....but, you do what a customer is willing to pay....plus...I wish I had before pics...the paint was so dull and faded out....
You also do great work....I keep my eye on several members postings and you are on that list

Beautiful car! Its pretty hard for me to hold back, too, when you're working on a car like that. But, as you stated, the customer gets what he wants.

You can tell by the "orangish" color that it is probably oxidation city. I the red color would totally come through with a good polish.

Wow...I love those old cars....expecially the sound when you crank them up.....

Great job, and very nice ride. But I don't think its a '70. It's a '71 or '72.

You could be correct...The owner I am pretty sure said it was a 1970....and he could be wrong...the guy has about 11 cars.......thanks for the comment too....appreciate it

Very nice bro! One of my all time favorites for sure! :xyxthumbs:

Awesome car! No way it's a '70 though, that looks like either a '71 or '72. The '70 had quad headlights:

Must be nice to have a collection so big you can't even remember what you have :awman:

True.....he has about 11-12 that is kept in storage.....but one thing I do like about him, he works very hard for his money...Asphalt Company....Owner...I admire that allot....at least it wasn't just given to him (Money)
