Gallons have been out of stock for a long time. I am beginning to wonder if they are phasing out the remaining stock of the carnauba version for the ceramic and siO2. I really hope not as I think it is possibly the best QD spray I have ever used and would like to get another gallon.
After a day if detailing it is easier to walk around the car and handle the smaller container. And was going to share some with a friend.
In any case, it worked fine. I just needed to take it easy loading up the pad because it was already so loose.
Thanks yes, I even messaged AG and they said they had never tried. I think I may just scrape off a couple teaspoons (< 1oz) and see if I can press it into the smaller jar.
Sun is not a problem to soften it, I am in S FL.
I have an empty 3oz jar that I would like to refill from an 8oz. I can scrape the wax from the larger to fill the smaller one, but I want to re-liquify it (or close to it) to properly mold / fill the container.
So, does anyone know the melting point? Would putting a container of it in a pan of...
I recently took possession of a new 2022 BMW M240i in Portimao blue, which gets purple metallic highlights in the right lighting. I have been an avid 845 user for over a decade and think this time I want to step it up a notch.
My research has brought me to one of the Wolfgang sealants topped...
Thanks for letting me know for future reference. I had searched for zap in the AG product directory, but no results were found. In hindsight, maybe it was too short of a search phrase..?
I have been caring for my own cars for as long as I can remember and have never found a foolproof glass product. I recently picked up a 6 pack of "Zap Cloth" online (not AG). They are individually packed, square folded cloth that feels to me like a very thin and tough foam-like fiber.
In any...
I have these too Anti-Fatigue Foam Mat Set, 4 Pc. and paid full price ($9.99 :D) I tend to not interlock them but instead, just spread them around and move them as needed for kneeling / sitting
They also had a 25% off sale "TAXES2022" right before Easter Really though if you spent $100-$200, that's only $5-$10 you left on the table. Not that big of a slap.
As it turns out I found a used (returned?) MiniMatch in Amazon Warehouse for only $49, so I will be trying that out first.
I will never do coatings
thanks
I am a home detailing hobbyist, only maintaining my wife's and my own cars. I am looking for a light for routine maintenance.. finding / correcting swirls, waterspots smudges etc.
From a practical standpoint which among the Minimatch, Sunmatch 3 and Matchpen R would best suit my needs?
Yes, but the thing I like (am used to?) with the hose, is the great adjustable nozzle I have. Fire Hose Nozzle
I like to rinse the horizontals with lower pressure / higher flow, and a little more pressure for the verticals and inside wheels. Then I will do door jambs and trunk surround with a...
I got the MTM PF22.2 with their SG28 gun. I realized I did not want to be holding a quart of liquid connected to the end of the Ryobi wand.
One addtiional thought -- I wonder what do most people do to rinse after they foam up their vehicle; do you swap out the foam bottle for a rinse nozzle on...
Thanks, I did read that somewhere. But since it was down to the individual model, I figured best things to do were to try to get confirmation from someone who did the same setup or to just get everything in my hands and the answer will be right there or in a trip to HD
Thanks, both. I did order the 50 footer, but the Flexzilla. The Uber was not readily available and will have the FZ by tomorrow.
One last question, I was just on the phone with MTM trying to confirm if I will need any fittings or adaptors with the RY141612 / PF22.2 setup. The person I was...
If I am seeing the photos clearly, I had a similar "webbing" in the paint of a newer car - after being hit with eggs. Seems my paint cracked from the impact, though the damage was only in 2 isolated spots.
I have been doing a regular 2 bucket wash with a hose for many years, but have finally decided to take the next step to a PW / foam cannon. After a good amount of research, I think I have narrowed my choices to the following:
Ryobi 1600 ($99 HD special)
MTM PF22.2 (w/1.1mm orifice)
UberFlex 30'...
I applied 845 my to car about 2 weeks ago - before discovering these newer sprays. As I described in the OP when I rewashed and applied the Griot's this past weekend it had everything I wanted in a wax/sealant.. except the slickness. But the Sonax detailer seems to have filled that gap - but I...
