    Mixing megs APC with folex..?

Try it on one of your vehicles and let us know. I think it will be OK but TEST on a small portion of the carpet. If you are going to use APC and Folex on the carpet separately they will mix anyway. Some kind of extraction is important to get the chemicals out of the carpet when done.

    How much should I charge?

Don't tell people you are charging $15/hr if thats what you do. Few like to hear an hourly rate for detailing. $15/hr seems pretty low. Factor in equipment, travel time, gas, time communicating with the customer, set up and break down time, replenishing supplies, washing towels and cleaning...

How much time does a "real" polisher save over a PC?

So, I did a full one step a few days ago. Used my Porter Cable. I've gotten more efficient over the last season. However, the black Altima would not give up her swirls and scratches so easily. Even with flat thin orange pads it took a lot of pressure. As I recall, it took appx 4hrs with the PC...

    Taking advantage of Instagram?

I never really got into Instagram. Facebook has been good to me. I just discovered how to easily share pics from FB to Instagram. So, I uploaded the best pics from most of my details a few minutes ago. I only have 25 Followers on IG. Then again, I only had a few pics of 1 detail I did until...

Square's now shipping their new Bluetooth card reader

Thanks for the heads up. I got an email from them a long while ago about this reader. I didn't understand the benefit of the chip until I looked it up just now. It bypasses the magnetic strip and encrypts info. So, people can use a 'card reader' to steal the info. OK. It was annoying to me as...

Product Review: Kärcher Underbody Chassis Cleaner

Interesting. It sort of looks "cheap" as if the plastic won't hold up over time. It seems priced okay at around $99. Seems like it can be used with other pressure washers too per this online review: "Without A Doubt The Best Underbody Device Ever Made! Every aspect of design and quality of...

Now that I'm thinking about it, what do you guys use to coat the rubber floor mats that will NOT transfer to people's shoes and be slippery? I am thinking of DP Tire Cleaner & Restorer diluted down. I haven't tried the product, but it looks pretty good.
