Has anyone coated their Weathertech floor liners with CarPro dLux?

dLux says 'plastic', but the floor liners are more of a flexible plastic versus most automotive plastics are hard plastics.

Thoughts?

In for suggestions since I will be getting WT Floor Liners soon. I didn't even consider coating them.

I love Dlux, but see no need to apply it to the WeatherTech's. Mine are two years old and still rinse the dirt away like day one. I don't see how the Dlux would help, they still accumulate sand, dirt, stone, salt etc. all of which are abrasive and would most like remove the Dlux. When ,mine are dirty I just clean them as I do my wheels

That would be pricey for something meant to take a lot of dirt/wear and tear. May make then slippery too.

I dont coat my mats, just wash them with brown royal.

BTW, has anyone here tried the tech care products from weather tech?

Well I might just order the Weathertech cleaner kit and be done with it.

I was thinking dLux was overkill, but never hurts to gather opinions from others.

I have the two WeatherTech products designed for their mats. I find they keep my mats looking new.

ProTip: I have a scrub brush with a handle that was designed for floors that I have for scrubbing the mats. The bristles are aggressive enough to get all stuff out of all the pits, but soft enough to not scuff up the mats.

I just ordered the Weathertech cleaning-protection products. Thanks for the input from everyone

Agree that coating with Dlux may not be a great idea...

For cleaning I've had great luck using 1Z Einszett Plastic Deep Cleaner on my Weathertech floor liners this winter. It makes quick work out of cleaning up the caked in road salt and grime. The smell is a bit strong though, so it is best to air out the liners a little bit before returning them back into the car. Give it a try! Quick and easy...
