How to keep frame/suspension looking good!

The suspension pieces on my Corvette are aluminum, I cleaned and polished everything and then sprayed with clearcoat. The wheel wells get cleaned each detail and sprayed with under-carriage detailer. Roger T

    Last minute buffer options...HELP

See if you can get a backing plate for the Harbor Freight polisher that will work with 5" pads. I saw the Harbor Freight polisher a week ago for $69. You can use a 20% off coupon and buy the polisher for about $55. You could give Dad an Autogeek gift card for proper pads , polish, sealer...

    Meguiars New DA

Judging by the previous videos, a lot of pressure is being put on the pad of the MT300 and the pad continues to turn. Yes, I realize the pad on the MT300 is not a gear driven pad. The pad is made to turn via "new technology" i.e. "digital torque technology". If we can not call the MT300 a...

    Meguiars New DA

Meguiars has introduced their new MT300 Dual Action Polisher. It is being promoted as the pad being able to continue to rotate under pressure. That makes me wonder if it is a "forced rotation" polisher like a Flex XC3401. The New Meguiars MT300 is priced at $220 where as a Flex XC3401 is...

    Faded Bumpers

From Meguiar's Detailer Professional's Choice line, I like "Tire & Trim Gel" for tires, rubber and plastic trim. Also, I like Adam's VRT ( vinyl, rubber, trim ) Adam's "In & Out Spray" is the same as VRT but in a spray form. This is ideal for dressing "egg crate" style grills, ect. Roger T

    Detailing Cart Alternative

I have been wanting to create a detailing cart for some time, but haven't done anything about it. I want as large as is reasonable and two shelves. What I am finding on the internet cost about $160. Just out of curiosity, I stopped by the local used office furniture store this afternoon to see...

Got the call I was waiting for....

If the first detailer knows you cover for him, he will let you. You may end up doing what he gets paid for. It is important to clarify what you are responsible for. Get it in writing. Roger T

Which is least aggressive Meguiar's Solo #86 or ultimate compound ?

Maguiar's Mirror Glaze Ultra Cut Compound has an "aggressiveness rating" of 12. According to Meguiars, the 1 to 10 rating scale had to be expanded to 12 when they came out with the 105 product. Roger T

    Meguiar's 105/205 or their Mf cc/finishing polish?

Rather than using 105 cutting compound, you usually can remove all the swirls with Meguiar's No. 9 Swirl Remover, then finish with sealant and then wax. Roger T
