Anyone works at a dealership can help me pull a vin?

Carfax only works if the vehicle has been reported or in a shop (i.e. dealership, auto body) that they can access the information. Just remember that it may not be completely accurate, especially if work was done on the side.

    Any drag racers here?

Thank you, I appreciate it. It was an original 70 1/2 Z/28 but obviously isn't now. I am the 3rd owner, it was stolen from the original owner and stripped completely, drive train, most interior, etc. 2nd owner purchased it in 74 and turned it into a drag car. I bought it in 1988 and made it what...

1 Race, 2 Cars, 2 Classes - Bruno is going to be busy this weekend!

A few years back, a detailer came out to the track and guaranteed .1 to .2 drop in ET on door cars after he cleaned them. If it didn't the job was free. I don't know of anyone personally that took him up on it, but would like to know how it turned out.

My White Camaro SS (one lousy pic)

I have a black 97 SS that I purchased that is in serious need of some help. It has been neglected for so long and abused so badly. Going to try and fix it, clean it and drive it for fun. Looks good in white and no t tops is rare.

Removal of residue from tire weight

I have always used WD-40 and some elbow grease on our bikes. Never had a problem taking the residue off of the wheels whether they were painted, powder coated or polished.

    Battery Tender Plus Review

I have the single and the 4 bank Tenders and they have worked flawlessly. My wife's 04 R1 still has the original battery in it and starts every time. All of our vehicles that sit for any length of time have the quick connectors on the batteries and get plugged in as soon as they are parked.

anyone ever used dodo juices tire shine

I have the Tyromania and like it a lot. I don't like "shiny" look on tires, but I do like them to be black and clean. The Tyromania goes on easy with the applicator included and looks great. A little also goes a long way. Dodo Juice does not make a bad product so you will not go wrong on either...

    Your favorite tire brand?

Drive my Accord 60 + round trip and have Michelin Harmony on mine. Due for a replacement and have over 90,000 miles on them. That is not a misprint. All 4 are at 2/32 to 3/32 and will be replaced by winter. Probably with another set of Michelins. Toyo would be my second choice. Had a set of...

    Mid-Grade Gasoline (89 Octane)

Here in Colorado, our octane ratings are 85, 87 and 91. We pay the same for 85 octane as most other states do for the 87. I use the "mid-grade" because it makes a difference in my gas mileage. I get more miles on a tank of gas with the 87 than the 85. For the record, our 85 here is an average of...

How many cars have you owned?

I too have had over 50 cars. Get bored with them quickly. Also had over a dozen motorcycles and I am 44. If I really had too, I might be able to list most/all of them.

    High mileage oil?

I was an auto tech for over 20 years and never used HM oil. I use Amsoil in all of our vehicles. My Honda has 242,000 + and still running great. All of our vehicles have at least 150,000 + but I think HM oil is a good oil. On that, as long as oil is changed as it should be, a lot of god oils...

    1968 Camaro - heater relay

There is no relay but there should be a resistor in the heater box under the hood on the passenger side. If the resistor is out, it will only have high speed. Should be pretty easy to replace, only two screws if I remember correctly.
