    New products!! (Buffers)

Hi Meghan, I'd like to see more new software than hardware so to speak As much as I want to support you guys, Ive run out of things to buy. I don't use any WG, DP or Pinnacle anymore as I've never liked them at all and newer technology products have come along such as the permanent filler polish...

What do you look for in a wax (or LSP)?

your probably right (as usual) In my case - for depth of shine a wax is probably best but glare micro finish followed by three applications of pro polish as a sealant provides some great depth and fantastic 12 month minimum protection The main reason people don't like the brand is that they...

What do you look for in a wax (or LSP)?

Well the finish is all in the pre polishing and post polishing prep, not the LSP Maybe with the expensive waxes that I won't pay for, you'll get more wetness and depth.

SO what do you guys think

Even though after claying you would think that the paint is clean, it's not in most cases This is why I use a couple of new technology cleaners that shall remain nameless (not sold here) to clean all the foreign matter and impurities out of the clear coat, soften it for easier correction and...

    Black WOW

It certainly has uses on certain trims that my non abrasive glass based trim polishing cream won't work on and for that I congratulate you richard on a great product I haven't had the need for it as of yet as my permanent trim polish has worked permanently and on all of them so far, since it's...

    waxing windows

Any sealant is fine on windows, I do mine with glare. Glass needs protection from sap, fallout and other contaminants too.

Claying the windows, Do they need protection after?

My procedure with all customer vehicles and my own is wash, clay, two step polishing and a coat or two of sealant. I haven't used wipers for six years.

    Maintaining in fillers

The best I've found are Glare and the Permagard severely and PD5000 products. Glare Knockout removes some swirls and fills some also Micro Finish fills in the majority if not all, by orbital, rotary or by hand Pro polish fills in a slight amount and you apply it like a sealant twice, let it...

    Maintenance

Over in my country, we have what is called - PRO WASH. its the best coin op car wash constructors and chemicals supplier They are nationwide and use the best industrial products they can get It's cheap, the soap doesn't strip wax or sealant and slickness is not that effected A nice 32 degree...

What do you look for in a wax (or LSP)?

I don't use wax anymore so sealant is my thing. Water sheeting is extremely important, maximum durability (if it dont last 12 months I ain't using it) and complete acid rain protection and good protection from fallout and sap So far all sap comes off with just a high pressure warm soap at the...

Don't hand wash. thats worse than taking it to a better coin op and doing a warm soap wash and a RO water rinse.

    Autopia Traffic!!! Wow!!!

Thats the only problem with this forum. Can only talk about AG products and since I'm ordering only pads, plates and gallons of Menzerna from here from this point (left the other products behind), I don't really have much to talk about Autopia was the first place I found and it's been the...

    My take on Diminishing Abrasives

[I don't think it's necessarily possible to finish without marring when using a strong compound, why? Because, and I'm just "guessing" here, not every particle will break down at the same rate, and/or, the speed at which particles break as a whole may change based on their state. You certainly...

    Inspecting Paint

When using abrasives on a black car, I will do a alco wipedown to make sure the results are the real deal However when using the permanent filling system, I do not as it will defeat the whole purpose of using that system

    PC and Menz

I can break down any of those by hand so it's not a problem Heck even Prima Cut will break down perfect for me by hand. About four minutes to do that by hand but will take out swirls no probs.

    Help: Rotary Buffer Use

My preference is different than Anthony's, I like it 100% flat all the time and do not get hop that often. Today's sticky clear coats can give a hop like result because it's becoming gluey as it's being buffed. Just my style I suppose, everyone's different.
